Oh Woman, I was dipping into the Whiskey you so graciously provided, and put me in a temporary self induced coma I am up now, and have made my next moves (isn't it sad when a guy has to tell a gal that he made his move )
Any other Chess fans out here ought to give this a try, it's really pretty cool
Now...back to you WW |

LOL Guido! LMAO ...
Ah, but aren't we all pawns in the game of life? Well put, and well, um... portrayed.
I do find chess to reflect life in many ways. We make choices, sacrifice some things for the greater good, and try to take down the occasional King, etc.
Well, Ron's on the site and I'm about to kick his ass all over the board in the next few weeks. Ron, are you listening!?
(The games can take a while to play, especially if it's set up for a move every 10-15 days, but I'll try to take him out 'short & sweet'...). Geez, if he beats me I'll never hear the end of it! LOL! Good for you. Like I said, you're brave... very proud of you.
But don't let all that stuff take you off your game -- it's taken me a few years to win those things! Besides, anything can happen in a game of chess. Trophies mean shit... really.
I'm just tickled pink that I get to play "PriestFan!" Yahoo!!
Game on... |

Ahhh.. .I see that you've won a few trophy's. ..I think I may have been a bit hasty in my desire to engage you in battle.. .then again...what better way to see where I stand than to roll up my sleeves and dive right in.. .I registered as a beginner...and go under the name of priestfan. ..I use than name on the poker sights that I play on, so why stop a good thing.. .you set up the # of moves per day and all that and I'll wait for your invite.. .good luck... |

Very cool. You're a brave man...
Although, I'll warn you... a now-friend/opponent from NJ calls me 'the terror of Alberta"
You are *so* on! |

Oh dear Woman...I am no expert...but none of my friends will play me anymore. ..and if I am beat...i don't let it go...it haunts me 'til I beat ch-ya...name the site...game on..... ...honestly, my parents taught me at a young age...I passed it on to my daughter (who used to be in the chess club at school 'til she learned to play the clarinet)...I have never played on-line...but I'd give it a shot... |

Okay, it's been bugging me for a while now ... so I have to ask, "Anyone else play chess?"
I play on a world-wide chess website that is pretty cool, other than the fact I asked an Australian guy if he was going to, or heard of, any Judas Priest concerts playing in Aussie at the time and he said, "JP who? No, I don't think so." Hmmm...
Seems to me that some metal heads could spice things up a bit. It would be just peachy if someone from here was up for an online game. Just putting it out there...
Anyone brave enough...? |
