that it would be advertized like that, in that order is also confusing as all get out.  seeing dio deciples and priest at the same time would be cool though.

I was checking for Cleveland tickets today and saw something that confused the shit out of me.
Oct. 27, 2011
Allston, Ma.
Judas Priest
Entombed
Botch
Dio
Suicidal Tendencies

Then on the show details it gives performance times.
Under Dio it says Dio and Heaven and hell.

Maybe someone here can clue me in.

This is 2011 right?
Dio is dead right?

Someone, anyone?

OK I get it.

I check everyday for Cleveland tickets and nothing.

I agree with the post below. Turning Circles is cool and Alone
is my favorite song on that album. I have every Priest album on
my classic except Nostradamus which I only used one song from.
"Alone". I love that song.

I would really like to know why Priest is not coming near D.C. on this tour closest in 4 1/2 hours away love to see them rock the NATIONS CAPITOL
[Budred] Thursday, July 07, 2011 9:53:44 AM
Thanks for both of those posts. I really don't follow the guys individually as much as a band.
That was the first time I was at Glenn's site. I'm glad you posted the tour book link also. I'm not
sure if they are for sale or not but I would love to have the Point of Entry book. I was checking
out the Fuel For Life book also. Thank goodness that look didn't last. KK with curls? WTF!!!!
..and Glenn with a spiky kind of look. Man am I glad that was a fail.
Thanks again. Take care.

Of course, if you're more into 'trips' down MetalGods' Memory Lane, a collection of tourbooks can be found:  kkdowning.net/pictography/tourbooks.html

A lot of fans follow the tour on a couple of the band members' FB profiles.  If you haven't already, keep up with Glenn on his site:
www.glenntipton.co.uk/tour-diary.asp  ... or simply access via the button in the left margin \m/

Still waiting for those MISSING EAST COAST TICKETS. Last time I checked there are a bunch of dates in Texas & Canada ( lucky people) but NOTHING on the East Coast except NY & FL. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the East Coast the most populated section of North America?? Come on guys, get youalls butts down yonder here to good ol North Carolina ya hear!!!!  WE LOVE OUR PRIEST!!! You got a problem with that???

Horrible thing they did to the fans without advance notice of ticjet sales and no links on site to buy tickets..fan for 28 years and this is horrible.

You have a point. I'm all for seeing the rarer stuff getting played.

I'm enjoying listening to Heart of a Lion on YT.

All valid points H End. Couldnt agree more. Only rare are Blood Red Skies and Starbreaker. Failed to deliver rare gems as promised. MpleSyrp

As a die-hard, lifelong Priest fan…I have to say the Epitaph tour and set list leave a lot to be desired.
Of course, the biggest disappointment is KK’s absence. Frankly, I miss him more than when Halford left. I also believe the fact that his replacement, while musically competent, was selected because of his resemblance to KK. It reeks of a Gene Simmons stunt.
I am also largely disappointed with the set list. In the press prior to the tour we were promised a set list for the long-time fans full of rarities or songs never played before live. That is not what was delivered. Aside from a few good selections, like “Blood Red Skies”, it is the same old, same old.
I understand that a major constraint in the selection of songs is the diminished ability of Rob’s voice, but they could have delivered rare, less strenuous songs.
If the true intent was to deliver a rarity filled, career retrospective set list, selecting a minimum one song per album, then songs should have been selected using the following guide rules:
  • Is it a Judas Priest original? That means no cover songs should be played i.e. “Green Manalishi” & “Diamonds & Rust”.
  • Has the song ever appeared on a Judas Priest or Halford live album? I will assume this tour will result in a live cd/dvd, if so the main selling point is the inclusion of never before played songs. This includes Rob singing songs from “Jugulator” and “Demolition”.
  • Songs should not be too vocally demanding so Rob can sing them night after night without him doubling over and looking at the ground constantly.
Bearing the above in mind, here is my suggested set list:
  1. Rocka Rolla = Rocka Rolla
  2. Sad Wings of Destiny = Dreamer Deceiver
  3. Sin After Sin = Here Comes the Tears
  4. Stained Class = Saints in Hell
  5. Killing Machine = Before the Dawn
  6. British Steel = Steeler
  7. Point of Entry = Don’t Go
  8. Screaming for Vengeance = Devil’s Child
  9. Defenders of the Faith = Night Comes Down
  10. Turbo = Reckless
  11. Ram It Down = Hard as Iron
  12. Painkiller = One Shot at Glory
  13. Jugulator = Cathedral Spires
  14. Demolition = Metal Messiah
  15. Angel of Retribution = Worth Fighting For
  16. Nostradamus = Conquest

After these you can play whatever you wish, I personally cannot imagine a show without “Hell Bent for Leather” and the motorcycle.

My two cents.

Waitin for PRIEST here on the east coast of the ol' USA. Just dates in NY & Florida aint gonna cut it!!!
[Vaillant 3.0] Wednesday, June 29, 2011 2:43:03 PM
If it's anything like the San Bernardino date, you'll have to check back daily at Live Nation/Ticketmaster until you see it there. Don't worry, it'll show up eventually.
