I think I read about that 2nd drummer before. Damn. Been a while! Too bad that image is so small. Would've been cool to read the details on it.
It is an article/review of Turbo tour with dokken, I found it interesting because it mentioned jonathan valen, the other drummer that was reportedly used by priest on the tour but denied asto how much his input was do to Hollands limitations, anyone who has seen the live DVD has watched the part when he pretty much handcuffs himself trying to play fast (IMO as acolyte)

Yeah, I read that article on Jay Jay a couple of weeks ago. I agree with you and Guido. That guy is a nobody. Pure and simple. He can only WISH that he is on the same level as JP, Saxon and the Rolling Stones. He's just a-hatin'. Fucking asshole.

Hey guido,vail... a few weeks ago guitarist Jay Jay French of Twisted Sister was in Orlando and a guy from an organization called "Spooky Empire" interviewed him,so he sits there and bad mouths the Rolling Stones claiming thier too old to even play thier instruments etc...laughing at them AND said Saxon are like 80 years old hinting THEY are too old to play thier instruments AND called Judas Priest a "cover band" because "Glenn is not there" and says how he can always tell when an old band trys to put out new music live cause everyone goes to the bathroom during the new songs...
What a fucking Joke,not only that but when this guy who was interviewing him said "Yeah but Judas Priest has just released a great record that fans are excited about and reached 5th on the billboard 200 chart... and Saxon has released an album too and is opening for Judas Priest... then the few people in the audience gave a cheer for Judas Priest and Saxon really quick THAT'S when Jay Jay French called Saxon 80 year old men and how Priest is just a cover band...blah blah blah FUCK YOU JAY JAY!

Fuck...Shitallica Hard Wired crappy album reached #2 and Priest #5? Highest charting album ever even more than British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance... maybe not album sales but to reach #5 is insane for Judas Priest in 2018 when most people don't buy CDs. It just shows how GREAT Firepower actually is.

Rob said during the recording sessions of Redeemer Of Souls Glenn made him do many extra takes ... Rob said laughing "Glenn can get away with that cause he's family".

Guardians & Rising From Ruins can mean one thing,but when I listen to it automatically what I think of is how Rob,Glenn,Ian & Scott had to Rise From Ruins from the situation when K.K. retired: We're standing as one... we're carrying on....."Rising From Ruins"....
And No Surrender I think automatically of Glenn's situation with Parkinson's.... all the lyrics just SCREAM Glenn is a non stop fighter!!! And it helps me when I complain about something stupid,I listen to this song and think of Glenn and how he's fighting this... such an inspirational song to me personally as No Surrender is my FAVORITE track on the album.

And that Painkiller clip guido posted was SPOT ON at how good Rob was ... the whole night he was ON! I'M sure it's very hard to perfect every show at his age but whole shit he sounded EXCELLENT!!
And Ritchie was on fire as usual.... this guy IS an elite member of this band!!

Budred THANKS for the thought just the same! Man I STILL HAVE GOOSEBUMPS from seeing Glenn walk out from behind that curtain !! But always KNOW it's "Killing him inside missing any show". His heart and soul goes out to all that didn't get to see him...and KNOW he was not feeling well enough to play that night at your shows.
Man Firepower out did British Steel what a record breaking year!! Lightning Strike is a modern day "You've Got Another Thing Coming".
