Well, the song wasnt really A song, it was a live tranmission of the Rockpalatz from Germany. 5 songs I think ... the one that stuck was FREEWHEEL BURNING, why? Glenn's solo offcourse :o)

Breaking the law also for me. Judging by what I read here, it's the "round-up-the-crowd" song

The first song I heard was breaking the law.  Went out next day and purchased been hooked ever since.  next albums were screaming for vengence and defenders of the faith.  In 84 started putting my hands on evertything they had put out. Never disappointed

I heard "Breaking the Law" from British Steel in the fall of 1980. A friend of mine had bought the album and made a cassette tape with some of the songs on it. I could not believe the intensity, the thickness of the sound, the weaving of the guitars and vocals beyond anything I had ever heard before. It seemed to reflect and emcompass the depth of my teenage angst. I was hooked at that time.

Not so much a waste land as a land of pointless bands (of recent days.) Gave up listening to the radio years ago. listen to CD's mainly now.

There is Metal all over the place this summer! Had to pick and choose, so I chose JP, V.I.P. So I could meet my legendary band.

Jovi were a good choice as England is flooded with boybands/girlbands and other such stuff that wont be about in 5 or so years. You know Its sad but true (to quote metallica).

Over here they can still draw a crowd, maybe not like they used to, but that's OK.
I saw Bon Jovi once,............Could have retched from the sight of it. No never see BJ again. Not my tastes.

I know priest will get back here, but seeing Bon Jovi live in a live venue, it struck me i have not seen priest, Sabbath or maiden in front of more than 5 thousand people. It makes  a lot of difference with a big venue. Looking firward to seeing them when they arrive home.

I'm sorry, you have to understand what a large place the world is! They can't go everywhere. They try, but they have to rest too.
I know england is their home country and they have promised to come back, and they are always a band of their word! They will return.

Unfortunetly , large venues in England dont get touched by Priest, Sabbath, or Maiden in England anymore just the pathetically small ones. Its not a slight on the bands just frustration from lots of fans in the UK.

They will get to it, they are not inconsiderate just the world is a very large place. Only doing Large arenas this summer. I'll have to drive 5 hours to see them but I would drive ten, if thats what it took.

Gotta agree with this one, Priest need to tour the UK, and forgive our poor music venues over here especially in the south east.

First song i everheard by Priest " beyond the realms of death". Stunning song, I was aware of priest before hand but this is the first one I remember hearing. was and still am into Bolt Thrower, Black Sabbath, Queen and such before hand. Seen priest twice and they knock everyone else for six live.

It was along time ago but i think it was either Turbo Lover or Breaking the Law.I used to be passenger for a mate back in the late 1980's as he was on his learners and he always had Judas Priest in the tape deck.
