YES!! I love Priest. I love everything they have done and I don't care what they play as long as they keep playing and sounding awesome! I love the fact that no 2 albums sound the same and that they are always striving to do something different. To me, that shows great talent. They achieved what they set out to do with Nostradamus and it is brilliant. No, it isn't hardcore like Painkiller (which happens to be my favorite album). I think Nostradamus takes you on a journey and it's done wonderfully. They have a way of making you feel the music, not just through the lyrics but with the music itself. My only fear is that if they do the entire Nostradamus album on tour, they might go too broadway with it like Queensryche did with Operation Mindcrime II. As long as they all don't try to "act" out parts, I think it would be a fantastic show. You know they always turn it up a notch or two when they play live. |

NO WAY DO I WANNA HEAR THE FULL NOSTRADAMUS AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHER SONGS.I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE THINKING WHEN THEY WROTE IT?!IT IS A SOFT,LITE METAL RECORD,A STEP BACK ESPECIALLY CAUSE THE SONGS MAINLY ARE'NT THAT STRONG AND THE GUYS OFTEN PLAY INSTRUMENTALLY WITH NONE OF THEIR IDENTITY.THEY SOUND LIKE ANOTHER BAND LOST BEHIND A SICK PRODUCERS JOKE.I THINK TOURING WITH QUEENSRYCHE KINDA MESSED WITH THEIR THINKING?IT DEFINATELY DOES'NT HAVE AS MUCH GREAT MATERIAL AS ANGEL OF RETRIBUTION.IF THEY WANTED TO GET MORE CLASSICAL ALSO,WHY DID'NT THEY PLAY LOCH NESS ON THAT TOUR?THAT WAS VERY CLASSICAL AND ONE OF THE BEST SONGS ON THE CD. |

I personally would love to hear "NOSTRADAMUS" live, either all or an abbreviated version but I welcome the new "BRITISH STEEL" tour as well.
This is going to be great and a change in the rest of the setlist has also been insinuated by JP..
So be prepared for a great tour.
BTW: We might also be in store for a few more NOSTRADAMUS tunes included in the set. I would LOVE to hear SANDS OF TIME into PESTILENCE AND PLAGUE.. Maybe ALONE will be there..

I thought that is what originaly they were going to do on this tour.
Probably not enough die hard fans to fill the venues.
I on the other hand would be stoked to here it start-finish.
Maybe they will do it in NYC or somewhere and release the video after. |

Most definitely, preferably at Symphony Hall in Birmingham, with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in attendance to do all the orchestral bits, and maybe a choral society as backing too. Think that would be stunning Edited at: Wednesday, February 18, 2009 5:05:02 AM |

Being Judas Priest, of course i'd go see them live no matter how bad the song. Nostradamus as some really good stuff that's definitely worth going to see, but there is also a lot of bad stuff. But, as I said, it's Judas Priest, so hell yeah i'd go see Nostradamus! |

I`d really love to listen to Nostradamus live! I don`t understand why some "fans" ( fortunately few of them) complain about the idea of listening to the whole record live in its entirety. It`s crazy. If you didn`t like the album, well, don`t go to see it live, as simple as that, but let the ones who really appreciate this masterpiece hold on to hope that one day we could be able this wonderful and unique experience !!!
