I do give Sammy props for Cabo Wabo, though. Really cool place and, as I have posted, not a bad tequila at all.
I'd also argue against the DLR sucked alone comment. Come on, he had some really funny intros to his videos back in the day. While not as good as Van Halen (Gods to me!), they certainly made you laugh. "My doctor said I need to take a LAXATIVE!! - Not in my store you don't!" HAAAA!!!! Classic.

That's just it Sammy was a great artist all to himself, when he joined Van Halen he lost his essential Rock edge! I don't know what happened but Sammy sucked with them!

Oh, David Lee without question! I almost cried with 5150. While a fan of the Red Rocker, the only song off that album (that I did buy, BTW) was "Get Up."
While I have seen Van Hagar a few times, the BEST was seeing VH last tour with DLR. Only regret was that Michael Anthony wasn't there. Loved every minute of it, though. |

Listen to this...
....i saw Fan Halen in concert a little while ago, (tribute band) it was at the house of blues, and after a song, the David Lee Roth look a like guy took the time between songs to completely bash sammy hagar, it was hilarious.
and David Lee Roth, obviously, Hagar took away eddies guitar and made him use the piano! but i think sammy was good on his own. I cant drive 55 was alright, and i like the song Heavy metal, and david lee roth solo kindo sucked. Van Hagar sucks! |
