Well I didn't exactly create this thread just to try and get your atteniton but if you want to think that then ok. I do want your opinion though and just wanted to get an idea of what everyone here on the site thought. Now I already know what some are going to say (lol) but I'm sure some newer members to the sight will have a fresh opinion. I know you've already proclaimed Saxon as the "new kings of british heavy metal" but I'm sure many will disagree with that just like I do. The title of this thread is "Maiden or Saxon" but if anyone wants to include Priest also then thats fine with me. In my opinioin Judas Priest are still easily the" kings" of metal followed closly by Iron Maiden and then there's the rest of the pack. The gap between Priest-Maiden and the rest is quite staggering and I don't see anyone ever catching up.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by J.D. I saw Saxon  warm up on Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil/Crusader tour in May of '84 atVets Memorial in Columbus Ohio Saxon ripped em' a new A**hole Nuff Said.
