LOL! Ok ok humor me Brian,I'll pretend for now Maiden are better than Saxon ok,so I like Iron Maiden too and I'll ask you this again for the umteenth time....is there an Iron Maiden song by Bruce Dickinson that you "don't like"? Simple question,if there is its all good man,I won't scorn you for it I'm just dying to know if there is one song that you do not like at all,I mean there are a few by Judas Priest and Saxon that I don't like there must be at least one if not a few that you really don't like,if you like all songs equally that just blows my mind dude this is where I get the "fanboy" from but hey,but more power to ya your right, you have a right to like what you like without an asshole like me shutting you down lol!

Look man I left this website for a week so I could cool down after all your stupid antics about me being a fan of Iron Maiden and here you are again. I'm not a joke cause you're the joke here man! All the lame rubbish that spews forth from your mouth about Iron Maiden! You just can't handle how great they are and so much better than Saxon any day of the year. I'm  proud to be an Iron Maiden fan. Did you hear me joker? I'll say it again! I proud to be a Iron Maiden fan!

LOL! Well fanboys are just irritating, but I would want to take up your idea but instead of fanboys replace them with metal bands and fans that don't support true metal aesthetics because they are contributing to the downfall of heavy metal so with that I could take all these worthless losers and torture them Jimmy Just like this album cover 1987 Holocausto!!!! LOL!!!!

You should start up an organization similar to what Hitler did with the Nazis. However rather than go round gassing jews you could go round gassing fanboys, friends and family members of fanboys, people who are known associates of fanboys, people who have done business with fanboys, people who are suspected of being fanboys, fanboy sympathisers, all of them. Just round them up, truck them out to Aushwitz or somewhere, gas them and burn them on a big bonfire.

Your not a "fan-boy" if you enjoy Nostradamus Guido, far from it because you have opinions of the album itself there are songs you would rate from the #1 song to the least favorite of yours even if you like every track there still is an order to opinions of these songs, its when a fan like "Brian Evans" claims it all to be the same, sure he says that he doesn't like the Blaze era but he says all Maiden with Bruce is all the same value and the same quality all across the fuckin table.....(Brian if your reading this...you are a fucking "JOKE" and are nothing but a worthless fucking fanboy, your opinions here do not mean anything to any of us because you have no opinions so fuck yourself fanboy!!)

I think the skinflint bastards charge people to chat on their noticeboard too. I think it's 10 pounds a year or something. That's why I'm not a member. The Maiden / Priest debate is a weird one because when you listen to them they both do totally different things. They have a lot in common such as great vocalists who are very different i think, awesome musicianship, wicked songs, same era give or take, both english etc but musically they do vastly different stuff. eg Number of the Beast and SFV came out the same year, they are nothing alike. DOTF and Powerslave again like black and white. I think both bands are cool but don't think much of their recent stuff. Would go to see either live.

I disagree about Nostra as most know. I love it. I have been to dozens of Priest shows against one or two Maiden shows. Were you to see my house, you'd find an interesting mix. TONS of Priest stuff (hell, five guitars!) mixed in with a handful of 80s Maiden stuff. Of course, I have things from other bands but I have a serious Priest addiction.

While I mentioned why I don't care for Maiden much anymore, I can elaborate as to why....they are FAR too "jumpy" in rhythm for me now. Each song seems like ten minutes long with so many changes that I just can't seem to get a grip on it. Of course, I refer to the new material. Sure, I can find a song here and there that I do like, I can find a bunch out of Nostra. As a complete album, I can say without hesitation that I still love it. Perhaps the "fanboy" in me talking, but I run to it all the time. Were I to try that with Maiden, I'd trip over my own feet!

Probably explains why I am not a member of Maiden's site.

Yeah, I know their new musics not so good but neither is Priests, Nostradamus is pretty lame and people go to Priest shows for nostalgia reasons as well. That's what the BS tour was. I've only been lucky enough to see Priest once and I didn't go to hear Nostradamus, I wanted to hear all those cool old songs, which I'm happy to say the band obliged with. Maiden do the same thing, they know what people want to hear and play that, it makes sense.

Priest probably couldn't pull off playing all of Nostradamus live (although I think it could work to an extent, it's just too long lol) - but they did pull it off exceptionally (from accounts I have heard) with British Steel. Yes I know it's a much shorter album, but it's a piece of heavy metal history, and I would love to see it played live.

Hey Kiamat, I agree with what you are saying 100% and I can't wait for the new cd. Except for the Blaze stuff, all Maiden is outstanding! Some people just can't see how good this band really is! Whats your favorite Maiden cd?

Were I to think that, I would be following them and not Priest.

I am no Maiden-hater either. Quite the contrary, in fact, and my pic here should be proof enough. However, they lost it. While a nice thought, three guitarists is too Spinal Tap for me to like. They just step all over each other with Murray usually taking the lead. I didn't catch the "Somewhere" tour live, but I have about 10 bootlegs and can say that I would only go for nostalgia's sake. Nothing more. They do not inspire me as they did in the past. Their last tour and album was so miserable that Dickenson even admits it in a couple of interviews I have heard. I think they didn't have anywhere else to GO except back "Somewhere in Time" trying to recapture their old fan-base.

Nope, while a couple of explosions and Eddie are nice and all, I am still there for the music alone. THAT is where they have failed since the 80s, IMO.

Thats what I'm saying too Becks, with this next record this gives Priest the chance to prove to Maiden fans that they are kings.Like in 1990 they put out Painkiller while Maiden put out No Prayer For The Dying and then Fear Of The Dark...both those albums can't even to begin to compare to Painkiller...back then Maiden fans were sitting on 2 shit albums while Priest fans were cellebrating Painkiller....same with 2005 with Angel Of Retribution....we got a classic LP like Screaming For Vengeance or Defenders Of The Faith while Maiden fans got 2003's "Dance Of Death" wich is to me the utterly most shit album they have ever done with Bruce,so again Judas Priest fans come out on top.Now with the Nostradamus 2008....Maiden came out on top because thier 2006 album 'AMOLAD" is better than Nostradamus in my opinion, but I recon this next album from Priest will soar them into the sky over Iron Maiden again.

But yeah, every time someone raves about Iron Maiden its 95% of the time about an 80's album. These Maiden "fan-boys" can laugh at Saxon all they want but the truth is that Saxon have been 100% more consistant the last 15 years than Iron Maiden have by far and they don't get any credit for tha and thier excellent heavy metal song writting skills, they don't have 'EDDIE" to sell records so they are swept under the carpet and forgotton about, thats fine because all of Saxon's true fans have mega albums that are of excellent quality to listen too,Saxon are a treasure chest of Diamonds waiting to be found by the heavy metal listener who's bored of bands that put out average material like Iron Maiden.
