I have no doubt it's going to be one of the best experiences of my life. I just wish I'd have thought about it sooner, say, 20 years ago or so!!!! I can't say enough about JP...no matter what is going on, if I start listening and/or singing along (much to the horror of my husband and daughter), everything starts to ROCK! And the music, the lyrics - thank you boys for not giving us drivel and calling it music - they could put out a book of all the lyrics and it would rival some of the best literary creations. When I hear the absolute CRAP that is out there today, it actually makes me depressed...maybe more so because I see the world can no longer differentiate between shit and glory....
P.S. I still have a wikked, wikked crush on rob............. |

I'm sure Rob will do a great job. His voice is still beyond anyone in metal alive today. He's such a nice guy too. I just love this band and they have done solid work for so long. Except that hiccup for about 10 years or so, they have always been my Favorite band. |

I went to the Ozzy concert 2008 - Rob Zombie opened....crazy show! Unfortunately, I was expecting the Ozzy from my youth, circa Bark at the Moon and Diary days......I thought they were going to have to give him the paddles at one point!!! LOL. He actually disappeared during Zakk Wylde's guitar solo for what seemed to be 15 minutes or so. Maybe they gave him a shot of epi....I was just so happy to have gone in the first place, it didn't bother me that he didn't hit those notes the way I remembered them in my head. I keep hoping when I see JP, Rob will be the way I see him in live footage I've seen from the FUEL FOR LIFE tour - Austin, TX....he look so damn happy...especially during The Sentinel, when he's talking to the audience. That's my big dream. I don't even care if I dislocate my head, I'm bangin', baby!!!!! |

Ah, you gotta go! I've seen them more than a few times in my life and have great memories from those shows. In my later years I went to one show alone, but met friends all around quickly, and one show with a good online friend. Enjoyed both shows immensly and had a great time. Learned at the last show though that I'm too old to non stop head bang anymore. HA!! Too much soup floating in this 46 year old's grey matter. HA!! |

how can a person choose one song from DOTF??????? UNLEASHED????? PAINKILLER?????? It's absurd!!!!!! These are hard, cruel decisions!!!!!
This will be my one and only shot to see JP live i my lifetime. Their body of work is insane, and just about every song means something to me.
