its nuts. Canmore (1 hour west in the mountains) got 220 mm (8 inches to the americans) of rain in 36 hours, after rain had already soaked the ground. the rain at higher elevations caused snowmelt, which close to doubled that moisture. that combined with the fact the ground is still frozen at higher elevations, and the steep slopes made for one hell of a surprise. luckily so far no one I know is affected, but its an unreal amount of water

Any real fan of Halford and Priest knows how he is a man of great humility. As I am on a number kick as per last post, how many times have you heard him say that he feels almost ashamed when people call him the "Metal God?" He'd be the first to admit it.
