Thunderstorms are pretty rare in sunny California, especially if one lives near the coast. This one was very intense...

Just encountered the coolest thunderstorm early this morning!!! It woke me up at 2 a.m. and again at 4 a.m. because of thunder and lightning crackling and booming right over my apartment complex. The rain was coming down in SHEETS!!!! It was pretty cool!!!!!!! Loved every minute of it...

we have been about 10-15 degrees cooler than average for this time of year,, they are saying its supposed to be nice by the weekend.

Oh man, that's rough. The good thing here is that at work our swamp coolers are actually still making the warehouse still cool, but when they start giving into the heat it will just become a sweatfeast every time we work. Would rather stay in the office when that day comes LOL.
