I, too, would like to chime in to wish all my metal brothers and sisters a very Happy New Year. As I am off to the Virgin Isles tomorrow and have yet to pack, who knows if I'll be able to make it back online.
So, thank you to all my friends for a wonderful past year and I wish you all the happiness for the year to come. Be safe. See you in 10 days. /Guids

Hello everyone. Hope everyone has had a great year overall and hope everyone has a great New Years. But before I get into that I must get this out of the way. Arizona just was flat and dazed by Nebraska and we just didn't show up. But there is next year and we can and will do better.
Now then. What is everyone doing for New Years? I am probably just going to be hanging out with a few friends playing video games till the countdown, then get back to playing and celebrating the New Year.

Well now, here we are again! Another year has past and we remain a huge, loving family. I cannot think of anything better! For this, I am grateful.
Throughout all the years we have seen so much. So much. I am sometimes just so amazed at how this site has morphed, evolved and grown. We have lost some. We have gained some. And through it all, there has been that unending, tangible, real family. For this, I am grateful. As much as we have changed, we have still remained the same. The caring, devoted fans that make up the core of this site remain some of my dearest, most precious friends and for this, I am grateful. We have been lucky enough to have many opportunities to spend some time with the mighty Priest in various parts of the world and for this, I am grateful. Some of us have spent time getting to know one another in a more personal way. Sharing our history and building our future and for this, I am grateful.
It has been a wonderful year despite our woes. And, lest we forget, life will always have obstacles. Trouble lurks. We deal. We survive. Please never forget that, no matter how difficult things may seem, we are here. We are together. We are one. We have each other and we have music. The tie that binds. That which brought us together and that which has held us fast can never be taken from us. We ARE one and for this, I am MOST grateful.
A VERY Happy New Year to you all. I sincerely love you.
Mike

Ok guys, here's another drumming video! Getting ready for the AC/DC concert next month LOL! I couldn't match the audio file and video exactly (I suck at that sort of thing), plus acoustics in the bedroom, where my drum kit lives, are not great. And YES I need a new video camera. BUT I am just having some fun really LOL! Enjoy

Good morning, ladies and gents of the Noticeboard.
Rejoice, for it is Hump Day. Only a day or two more and the new year (and new decade) will begin. Who's excited?

*yawn* Just dragged myself to work today. Should've called for vacation, but oh well. Had a great Christmas weekend, and I hope everyone else had as well. I prefer simple celebrations now, and I don't know why. It just seems to be a new thing now, since for the past couple of years these get togethers with the family are getting smaller and simpler. Even Thanksgiving was small with only some of my step family and some family friends. Could just be the times but that doesn't bother me.
[joedraper] Monday, December 28, 2009 4:55:29 AM
Hi Blah dwellers!..
I kind of missed the whole Christmas vibe here because I was sooo distracted by the fantastic time we were having at home.. But better late than never so, Merry Christmas everyone! I've made some amazing friends here that I treasure deeply and have been educated, informed, shocked and amused so many times thanks to this diverse board and its valued posters!
I'm busy winding a transformer for an amp I'm making so that is taking up a wee bit of my time. So far it seems to be going ok.. Two more transformers to wind and then I start putting the rest together. I am so keen to see how it will turn out. I've been wanting to do this for years and now Craig finally has the time to help me get it done (he's like a master tube amp builder and I got sick of just watching and listening to the finished product ha ha ha).
And er Brandon, LEARN TO SPELL!
Really! Enough already, your post are difficult to read and I think you can spell, you just get a kick out of not trying. If you really have a problem then please get help. You will benifit from it in the long run. At this moment in time, I just skip over most of your posts because it's just not worth my brain power trying to decode what on earth you are trying to say. Surely I'm not the only one thinking this?

I also agree. It it just too much to believe that someone can spell so poorly. "Mi vs. my"? "Theire?" No. Sorry. Don't buy it either unless he is in the second grade or a non-native speaker. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Brandon Taylor from Sunday, December 27, 2009 4:56:21 PM)

What Apps?!? I can only guess Yahoo. Like I said before, it is so loaded with flaws / spyware that I won't allow it on any in my labs.
What a wonderfully lazy day this has been!! Haven't watched any football, instead have been watching The Librarian series (right now it's the Curse of the Judas Chalice).
Broke in the new waffle iron and hot chocolate maker...deliscious with strawberries and whipped cream!!! Just finished eating grilled bacon cheeseburgers!!
Great to see Strat making a visit back to us...best of luck in school!!
I went back to IE because Firefox wouldn't allow me to use some apps, and I have absolutely NO problems here at JP.com!!!
I'm very happy to see we've all made it through Christmas...off this coming up week and I really am at a loss on how to fill up some of my time...any suggestions??
Also...NO New Years resoloutions for me this year!!!!!!!!

I don't have a real tree this year, that was last year as we alternate. I usually leave the decorations up 'til New Years is over as it's depressing taking them down. Btw, when's the next meaningful holiday??
ps...I graduated from a public school as well...lol Edited at: Sunday, December 27, 2009 5:25:42 PM
