Can't wait to see them later this month! I won't be anywhere near the front though, as I have the free ticket I got via the Nostradamus cd. That puts me in the lawn area of the ampitheater, waaaayyyy back there. Hope they have great big videoscreen footage of KK, Glenn and Scott that night! |

Healer, great pics! Thanks for sharing! Sorry you didn't get a pic - maybe better luck in Vegas.
I never catch anything at shows. One of these days I'm just going to start throwing guitar picks at bands LOL. I think he was starting to get a little scared of the crowd because by the end of the night, they were definitely starting to get out of control. Jumping on the stage and everything and hanging on a little too long when the guys went to shake hands. 4 bands makes for a very long night with pleny of time for people to drink way too much. Mohegan usually has a good crowd so hopefully it won't be as bad for the guys and the barriers are usually wider so less chance the crowd can reach them or for people to climb up on stage. | | jerZgirl wrote: | | Hey Healer! Great pic of KK!
The show kicked ass...and I'm planning on hitchicking up to mohegan sun! LOL

It's not posted yet and I'm getting so anxious cause I have no idea how it came out. I hardly had a chance to say anything to the band. They rush you through pretty fast. I did get to hug, Ian, Glenn, and Scott. When Scott signed my concert ticket from 1981 I did tell him that although I know he wasn't with the band then to me he "is" the Priest drummer and always will be. He thanked me and gave me a big hug! Real sweetheart. I am working on getting my pictures uploaded but had to share this one of KK. He knew I was trying to take his picture and so he started playing with the spot light with his foot that was located right in front of me and because of that the picture never focused right but you see him laughing at me. By the way, because I was right in front of KK, I got some really good shots of him this time

I cannot believe for the amount of money the tickets cost that they would not have a professional photgrapher taking the pictures. Not only that, it is a digital camera so she should be able to view them right away to see if their ok and give people the option to retake. I'm hoping she just hasn't finished uploading the pictures but I did e-mail them. They rushed us so much, I didn't even get to stand next to Glenn but I was between Rob and Scott . As far as how close I was? We had front row seats and were in front of KK. The way the venue was set up there was no room between the seats and the Barrier and there wasn't much of that either so we were very, very close to the stage. The stage was so huge though that it still seemed like the guys were far away. You can see in the some of the pictures that Scott especially looked like he was a mile away. Here is the link to the pictures, Enjoy!

No problem, we just have to use the bigger fly swatter. I kind of feel bad for Brett. It seems like he never really wanted to retire. On the other hand, if he was trying to play a poker hand, I think he just got schooled. Brett's a great quarterback, but the Jets don't have the team to put around him and since he played his cards so late in the game there is little chance that it can change. Awesome pics Healer. The best I've seen yet from members here. Thanks so much for sharing. At the Edmonton show I was in about the same spot, just in front of KK. The stage was much smaller. There was only 3500 people there. I feel very lucky that my meet and greet was not as rushed as mosted. Look the the Vancover pics. They look the most rushed. My hubby and I got at least 2 full mins with the guys. Less people paid off for us. I really hope that your picture with the guys shows up. I was being a little nice with my comments about Amanda picture taking skills. They really should have had a professional takiing them or at least give her the time to re-take it, if needed. After all, for some people this is the most important moment of their life. He is a Ham......... Great picture.... I love all the great pics you girls have posted.... KK is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | | Healer wrote: | | Hey everyone! Back from NJ. Had a great night! Finally got to meet the Band and got our picture taken with them.

Hi Healer. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. How close were you actually to the stage? I'll keep my fingers crossed that your photo with the men of Priest turned out good for you. It seems that Amanda's pictures taking skills are not getting better. But I guess she's doing the best with such little time and in some cases, poor lighting. I feel sorry for all the people that got horrible pictures. For me the pictures is and was very important. Good luck! Big storm about to hit so have to go for now. Pictures are almost done uploading so I will come back later to post the link. I wonder if he was playing with the spotlight so as to move it out the way so that the picture could come out without a blinding spot light in it? Either way, it is such a cute photo, very nice smile you got there. I can't wait to see the ones you're still going to post. Glad you had a fantastic night.
