I didn’t mean to be offensive at all. So let see if we can sort this out.
If you correctly read my post, you’ll see the sentence with “somewhere in between” in it, which means that neither Europeans nor Americans are either right or wrong. I also mention that what I wrote was only my opinion. Which means anyone can agree or disagree with it. No attack there.
Now, what does war have to do with the nudity issue ?????
Besides, you should take a look at your History papers. You’ll see that not only is Switzerland a neutral country, already was back then, therefore didn’t and still doesn’t fight, but also is the country a lot of leaders, including yours, of this world come to in order to peacefully talk about their sensitive issues.
It would also be a good idea to check a bit more about my country in order to find out that we have 4 national languages, one of them being…German lolllll (which isn’t mine by the way)
To answer your question : Am I proud to be from Switzerland? Not necessarily. Like in every country I’ve seen, there are good things and not so good things. I’m simply a child of the world! And I look at what people have inside of them, not at their passports. Which brings me to the last thing I want to say, or rather ask :
Do you have a problem with “non-american” people? I’m asking this question because it seems that you expect them to eternally bow before you (see the old war thing you wrote) without any right to express themselves, as if they were sub-humans ….isn’t that offensive ?
But as I don't hold a grudge : have a nice day!

Well said Vail, I agree with you 100% The Thong thread has never offended me as a women and I do feel the pics in there are tasteful and the guys do tend to be respectful in their comments (if they even make comments. I've seen far more offensive displays on everyday T.V. as well as advertisments where my kids are exposed to some hectic stuff. Long live Sinful and Thong thread!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Tuesday, September 23, 2008 12:37:36 PM)| | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | As someone who posts in the Sinful thread and in the Thong thread (every once in a while), I'd have to say that the Thong thread is fair game. Where AmI, If you have read the Sinful thread, then you know that even we ladies tend to get a bit nasty in our fantasies with the Priest men. Heck, I'm 19 and my favorite band member is in his sixties! The Thong thread contains very little, if any, sexual comments ("I wanna do this to her, wanna do that", etc), so I'm fine with that. The thread would have been extinguished a long time ago had such comments existed, IMO. All I have seen are comments that show the readers' appreciation of the models in a clean, nonoffensive manner. The models that are most commonly featured in the Thong thread appear to be in their mid-to-late twenties (no prepubescent teens, in other words).
Besides, this IS 2008!! There's more sex and nudity on TV and the movies than ever (correct me if I'm wrong if 1988 was much worse), we have reality shows that are centered around models, and most of us accept and adore that ideal body figure that is most commonly seen in the Thong thread, so it won't be going away anytime soon. Its merely a sign of the times in which we live. You either like it or you don't. If you don't like it, then thats fine...thats your opinion.
Both threads have one thing in common: they cater to the fantasies of both men and women. If you don't like a thread, then simply put it in your ignore list. The pictures won't be shown (Simply an "Ignored Message" statement), so it shouldn't be a big problem. |

Hmmm... So the truth has many names depending on where you are: in one place the truth is one thing, in another it changes to something else. Like points of view in the spur of the moment, it all comes down to temperature and chemical composition, but the bull is still the same.
