The "A Matter Of Life And Death" album may not be the best Maiden album,not even close and it might not even be a "heavy metal" album as it could be progressive rock but it sure as hell smokes the shit out of "The Final Frontier" in my opinion except the 2 songs "Different World" and "Benjamin Bregg"(I hate those songs) but the rest of it smokes the hell out of the new LP. Those who like it so be it,good for you as I'm not saying you can't,but at least I have a fuckin opinion and not a pathetic obsession.
I love the debut "Iron Maiden" album(1980) and I love "Killers"(1981) those are the 2 best Maiden albums for me,I also love The Number Of The Beast,Piece Of Mind,Powerslave. I hate the "Somewhere In Time" album except for Stranger In A Strange Land(its ok).
Seventh Son is "ok" I can listen to every song except "The Evil That Men Do"(I hate that song!). NPFTD and FOTD both are rubbish and only have 2 maybe 3 songs that are alright but the rest is not my thing,I hate both Blaze albums and Half of Brave New World is "ok" but I hate the other half. I like: Wicker Man,Ghost Of The Navigator,Nomad,Out Of The Silent Planet and Thin Line Between Love And Hate,and I hate the other 5 songs! I hate the entire Dance Of Death album as I know you like it but I could never stomach it no matter how many times I've tried to listen to it.
Now thats an opinion of this band,not a "bashing frenzy" as dickhead says I do.lol!

I couldn't agree more. Its crazy in my opinion. I don't know what the problem is with that joker and Iron Maiden but all I know is he needs to cool it. Maybe he went back stage to meet the band and they kicked him out, maybe Bruce turned him down for an autograph. lmao. All I know is every time someone even slightly mentions Maiden he has a serious meltdown. I like new Iron Maiden and if he has a problem with it then too bad. UP THE IRONS and down with the control freaks.

Everyone has their opinions, it doesn't mean we have to agree with them. That is kind of control freak mentality. |

Actually - saying 'Killers' was a good song reminds me..the production on that album (vinyl) i thought was sadly lacking compared to the first effort, they came across far better live...i roadied most of the Killers tour in UK..unlike some i actually liked Paul Di'anno...was offered the 'Beast On The Road' tour but - being a bit of a fan of Samson (Bruce's older band) i elected to stay in the crowd...believe me - was the right option.

First off I'll add icecreamman to the 95% lol! Now Jeanine,I or nobody else is saying: "Nobody should like the new Iron Maiden album". Everybody has thier own opinions but Mr.Evans is claiming that every Iron Maiden song from side one of Iron Maiden's debut (1980)Prowler to 2010's last song "Where The Wild Wind Blows" are equal to each other,they are all the same and that Iron Maiden have never written a bad song. Blaze Baily's albums too,pick any track and its equal to your favorite Iron Maiden song. Thats his opinion and and I'm not saying that he can't have that opinion but he gets "BUTT HURT AND BENT" when the entire forum calls him a "fanboy".
Iron Maiden can put out a cover of Britny Spears and he will claim its as good as the song "Killers" or anything else Maiden have done and once again its his right to think so,but he is a "fanboy" and when somebody thinks this way thier opinion is irrelevant,its not "valid" because you can't "discuss" anything serious with him about Iron Maiden when he or anybody like him says "its all the same and its all good"...how can you "discuss" a serious Iron Maiden conversation with somebody like that? You can't. He created the "serious Iron Maiden discussion" thread but there is nothing to discuss unless you think exactly like he does..."a fanboy".
