I have to have a chuckle here because as you all drift into summer, winter is knocking on my door here in africa... yes that's right, winter in africa (lol) We've had rain and cold weather today and a pretty cold weekend... I enjoy all seasons but I'm especially happy at the start of each new season.. I've been known to get a tad grumpy toward the end of winter though!

I do have a dog back home...the only problem is that he's too wild to be left out in the yard without the gates closed!! He'd probably run off the instant the gates open!!!

Get a dog so he or she can run after it for you. I know your in school and No Pets Allowed... Me and my girlfriend have been walking a few miles everynight so we can lose a few pounds, plus we have been feeling better since we started. I've lost about 10 pounds since we've started, so I'm very happy about that. i want to lose about another 10 or 15 then I'll be happy with myself.....

Interesting tidbit I learned this past week: Most early rock & roll (circa 1950s / 60s) music wasn't written. A lot of the younger artists, of the day, played by ear, having not spent any amount of time actually learning how to read music; hits didn't last long on the charts. By the time someone published the written music, the song / hit was already dated.

First in my To-Do list is to write the last essay of the year (gathering ideas every few minutes and writing them down). Then its studying for the finals, which will be in two weeks, then I'm out of Davis for the summer.

Do the authors have any preference for one over the other, believe both are compatible, or use one to criticize the other?
Its 5-6 pages, due Wednesday. I'll be fine, for now...
