Just bought the cd version of taking over by overkill. Probably my favorite overkill album and until now all I've had was the vinyl so I'm happy

I like Accetp but after a while Udo Dirkschneider's voice gets very annoying and I have to stop listening. Overall though good classic metal. ha!
[Budred] Tuesday, January 18, 2011 7:43:50 AM
I like Russian Roulette also.
I got to see Accept open for Dio on that tour. Kick ass concert. I'm not the biggest Accept fan but I like
and still have on vinyl:
  "Restless and Wild"
  "Balls to the Wall"
  "Kaizoku-Ban"(live EP)
  "Metal Heart"
  "Russian Roulette"

I bought "Eat The Heat" on CD and saw them with Wasp and Metal Church on that tour. They didn't have UDO and
they didn't sound like Accept. I haven't followed them since. I may check out the new one though. Peace!

Dark Moor-Ancient Romance
Holy Grail-Crisis in Utopia

All but the Holy Grail one were ordered online. Should get them in the mail later this week.

Metal Heart is pretty good, That and Restless And Wild seem to be seen as the best Accept albums but the new one Blood Of The Nations is definately up there with those. My favorite Accept album however is the highly underrated Russian Roulette album from 1986. Here's the first track TV War. The cover is a crack up too.

I'm surprised no-one mentioned "Metal Heart". That has to be one of Accept's best.

[jimmyjames] Sunday, January 16, 2011 2:08:54 PM

Last time I was in Real Groovy they had a copy and last time I was in JBs in Wellington they had a copy but they were expensive, about $33. Just get it on Amazon. YOu can buy it for about $8 US, postage is $6 US so all up it'll only cost you about $22 NZ. I buy loads of stuff online it's way cheaper. 3 for the price of 2 basically and they have more to choose from. They usually take between a week and a month to arrive depending on who you get it from.

Too bad. Online seems to be your route. Until then....FAST AS A SHARK!
BTW, the live album they put out called "Staying a Life" back in the day has the most amazing UDO scream I have ever heard. He does the typical Halford/Crowd scream along for a few then blasts with an ungodly burst that actually sounds like he is inhaling at full volume. Amazing and I have almost choked many a time trying to replicate that noise.

Ozzy Osbourne - Randy Rhoads Tribute.
The Wildhearts - Earth Vs The Wildhearts.

Hey Vail. Motorheads new album is good. Don't expect anything vastly different from their recent efforts, just a solid album along the same lines as Kiss Of Death and Motorizer.

Hey Headbanger. A couple of friends of mine are into the Mars Volta, they are ok but very progressive and their albums are all over the place. They love them and played me a few of their songs which were ok so I bought that cd because it was only $10.

KEEP THE METAL ALIVE

[Budred] Thursday, November 04, 2010 9:05:12 AM
I do both but the majority of my music is bought or borrowed from the Library.
I have 1018 cd's.
588 are store bought.
400 are recorded from borrowed cd's (library/friends)(home audio recorder)(true copies)
4     are digital downloads(bought)
26   are stolen

My main problem with stealing now is that it's hard for me to find something I want.
If someone would tell me where I could get Mushroomhead's self titled debut I may steal that.
[Necroticist] Thursday, November 04, 2010 8:36:33 AM

ABOUT MY JUDAS PRIEST,HALFORD AND FIGHT MUSIC COLLECTION,AND ABOUT MY MUSIC PURCHASED RECENTLY

Since i discovered the music of Judas,Fight and Halford,i succeded to have almost all their discography,in original ofcourse, cause i don't like the piratery, even if i must to admit that in the first, was very difficult to have their music, cause in the country where i live,Romania,in special in the small town where i live, named Arad,we didn't had not even one rock music store,so i need to buy from internet, from Amazon,or E-bay,and NO WAY from their own sites, which are very expensive for me,with all delivery taxes to Romania, but now recently started to find their music in my country too,the most many rock stores are also in our capital, named Bucharest, so i must to buy online from they, but also now recently, started to find their music in my own town,in some stores, specialy now when was open here too a Mall, where exist an Carturesti store, and from where i was very very surprised to find for the first time some related to these bands, but nothing yet with Judas Priest, just Halford, and just Winter Songs album, which ofcourse i bought it,and because that was all which i found here, i bought Live in Anaheim from Bucharest, and recently i bought this last album Made of Metal, from the first time from Amazon, and i also related to Judas Priest i bought British Steel DvD  from Bucharest, and now recently i bought that two albums Painkiller and British Steel De Luxe Edition, made in Uk,from Amazon too.

1.From Judas Priest i have:
-all their albums, from the first Rocka Rolla to last Touch Of Evil Live, and now recently i ordered the Painkiller and British Steel in De Luxe Edition made just in UK,from Amazon.
-all their dvd-es.
-most of them t-shirts albums, but also i still want to buy someday all their albums t-shirts,and some unique t-shirts,and some magazines, posters, and the mini statue with Rob Halford ,and the guitar signed by Rob,and the but all these just from E-bay site.
2.From Halford i have:
-all their albums from first Resurrection to Winter Songs, which i bough from our Atrium Mall Center, from Carturesti store, and to the last Made of Metal, which i bought recently from Amazon, was little few than from Rob Halford site, but also i still need an album, that Metal God Essential, which i will must to buy from RobHalford site, from the first time.
-all their dvd-es .
-just one t-shirt with Halford logo and Crucible World Tour, the Halford t-shirt are hard to find, not find anywhere, just on his own site,so i will must to buy from his site that with Halford in Chair, and that just with Halford white logo, and some magazines, posters  from E-bay site.
3.From Fight i have:
-all their albums from first War of Words,to Small Deadly Space, but also missed me that Fight K5,which i wil must to buy from Rob Halford site, from the first time.
-all their dvd-es.
-not even one t-shirt yet, because these too are hard to find, not find anywhere, just on hiw own site,so i will must to buy from his site that with Fight logo, and ofcourse some posters, and magazines from E-bay.
P.S.Also i wish to buy from Rob Halford own clothing line, that t-shirt with Steel Wings(my favorite)but its seems not exist anymore, and also was too much expensive for me.

Also,i hope one day,to find all Judas Priest, and Halford and Fight music in my own town too,to not need to buy from Bucharest,or from Amazon,or E-bay,or worst, from their own sites, which are expensive,at least for me.

Greetings to you all

No I haven't zomby. I actually discovered Running Wild by myself because I've always heard of thier name from the 80's but never gave them a proper listen. They have 13 studio albums,I've heard them all and I like 6 of them. They aren't very consistant in writting quality albums but the 6 albums that I have are very worthy traditional heavy metal albums, they really remind me of old Iron maiden with Paul Di Anno, especially the vocals R. Kasperek does.

Too bad they retired from the music business although I didn't like thier last 3 studio albums at all from the year 2000  to 2006,they are pretty weak and the song writting seemed to change styles but again they do have 6 albums worth checking out in my opinion.

RUNNING WILD - Mr.Deadhead -Black Hand Inn album 1994...bought this album a year and a half ago...total traditional textbook non-trendy british styled heavy metal.Great album,11 tracks and 9 of them are badass.
