The drumming on Exiled sounds a bit like the beat of the Terminator 2 theme [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by nathan0212 from Tuesday, June 17, 2008 12:37:00 PM) | | nathan0212 wrote: | | Prophecy- a fantastic start to the album, really catchy
War- The word epic captured in one piece of music
Pestilence and Plague- ROB SINGS ITALIAN! NUFF SAID!
Exiled- fantastic, another epic one (but in a totally different way to War)
Visions- I dare you not to get shivers down your spine when Shadows in The Flame links to this. |

Revelations -- cool how it works up to a fever pitch..
War -- gothic, bombastic, fantastic.. good for playing Warcraft..
Death -- love the way Rob uses his screech
Exiled -- reminds me of the Old Priest with piano interludes
Lost Love -- nobody and I mean NOBODY does a metal ballad like Priest
Do I have to limit it to five? Thats hard... Edited at: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 9:17:12 AM Edited at: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 9:20:02 AM |

Hmm, though one. I love the whole Album but right now I'd have to say my favorite song is Revelations, then in no paticular order: Alone, Persercution, Pestilance and plaque, and Nostradamus [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ZaNMaTo from Monday, June 16, 2008 12:33:06 PM) | | ZaNMaTo wrote: | | 5. 4. Revelations
3. Death
2. Pestilence And Plague
1. Future Of Mankind
But honestly though, I feel like i've left out a lot, this album is THAT good. |

Nostradamus - of course...the fast, double bass fast-cutter, featuring a Painkiller-like rhythm, great symphony section
Revelations - great pounder, very optimistic, lotsa headbanging space here, makes me lift right up as I listen to it, love the accoustics in this number, great when you're feeling angry to get your energy out, killer guitar shredding
Visions - Now what could be more groovy and cool, a lot of sound in this one, great song to listen to when deeply in love
Persecution - Great speed and power, clever use of symphony in this one...certainly makes it sleuthful and badass too, killer shredding, outstanding drumming
Conquest - Makes ya feel you're really out there lookin' for something, reminds me a bit of Iron Maiden's Dance Of Death album, another great groove like Visions, killer guitar solo here too Edited at: Monday, June 16, 2008 5:37:22 AM |
