SOLDIERS MADE UP THE LARGEST SEABORNE INVASION OF ALL TIME...ESTIMATES IN THE AREA OF 9,000 ALLIED SOLDIERS FELL THAT DAY,AND ALSO JUST AS MANY OF THE YOUNG GERMAN SOLDIERS WHO WERE ORDERED TO DEFEND THOSE BEACHES.A DAY THAT WOULD CHANGE THE COURSE OF WORLD HISTORY...NOW WITH THE RUSSIANS TO THE EAST,AND THE ALLIED FORCES TO THE WEST,THE ASSAULT ON EUROPE HAD BEGUN,EVENTUALLY MEETING WITH THE SOVIETS FROM THE EAST TO BRING AN END TO THE NAZI REICH.

Canadians can't have water balloons...The water would turn to ice in the fridgid Artic air and the balloon would subsequently overshoot it's intended target.  I say overshoot b/c ice is lighter than water and that would hose up their catipults and giant rubber bands.
