While you're saving up, you could try downloading Audacity for free, I use that program and it's fairly straightforward, if a little funny at times. Yeah I had a "project" called "Mortal Suppression" that was for fun,but my friend is so busy with his work,I'm afraid he has no time these days to work on it,so I've started writting my own songs and have some pretty cool ideas.I'll start saving for the equiptment I need to record myself.My girlfriend Victoria majored in audio production so she knows how to record and she knows what she is doing and since I have "NO EGO" she will teach me some things and tricks!
Her son Brooklyn is only 14 years old but the kid can play drums man!! Within a year from now he will be able to lay down some drum tracks for my songs no problem so I'll be creating my own project which will be a traditional heavy metal band since hardly nobody these days goes for old school heavy metal,they all want to play death,thrash,black metal so I will diviate from the horde of trends with a heavy metal project!!! But this is "for myself" and I will not be trying to get singed by a label and blah blah blah blah...I just want to have some fun and this is entirely for "me".
