Hi momo...I can only go back as far as Ellis like you did, but Ellis was with KK and Ian when Atkins aksed to sing with them...I don't know who the drummer for Priest was before KK, Ian and Ellis joined Priest...good question spapad!! I did not say I did not like the cover but I think if they could have seen at least some of the movie in the can when approached. They would never had agreed to put that song on that movie soundtrack. All that business stuff again I don't know about. I like Johnny B Goode; still think Solar Angels would have done well in the movie too.
And, your right, the band should have been able to pre-screen before making a decision. Wonder why that didn't happen? hmmm? Not a did at management either. There must have been some logic behind it. |
