D'oh! "We're soccer boys...what do we know!"
You could actually FEEL the gasp come over the crowd.

Considering all the Red Wings stuff they will be seeing as they go through The Joe and they will most likely be in the home dressing room, I'm sure that Rob will know. He does like hockey too. It's DETROIT ROCK CITY AND HOCKEYTOWN!! And you are absolutely right, kick ass doesn't begin to describe it if that were to happen. We have front row center seats, so if he does hold it up, I'll be snapping away
How could any Red Wings fan not remember the Joe Elliot blunder? It was one of those, OMFG.... he isn't going to do what I think he is going to do..... NOOOOOOOO......... TURN IT, TURN IT, it's upside down! That guy that takes care of the cup must have been shitting himself. Wasn't he the one that came running over to right it, white gloves and all?

Rob with the Wings flag in full resolution would be too much. Especially in Hockeytown. My only fear is that he might not follow hockey and think that there might be someone actually hostile to the Wings in their home stadium. Best get word to Scott that it is a non-issue. Imagine the screams THAT move would generate. "Kick ass" doesn't begin to describe it were it to happen.

Hells yeah, it would! A Wings flag at the Joe?!? That would be way kewl.

is right!! "Oh, it's upside down, well, never mind"...... I remember him also saying that all their cups were wider on the top than on the bottom so that's why he put it down that way. Gee, couldn't he see all the names engraved on the rings with the cup above them not to mention how it was strapped onto the bike coming in??? Oh, but he practiced with a coffee maker.....
That's right, it was Quincy that righted it IMMEDIATELY!

HAAAAAAA!!!!!! Thanks for the advice! I'll be planning on it.
@ guido, i was embarrassed for him , even the die hard BLS fans started sitting down after 3-4 minutes of the solo, i recommend going to get a beer or washroom break because he will still be playing when you get back !!!! lol

god how I hate long drawn out guitar solo's
will never go see ACDC again because the only time I saw them Angus spent more time solo than with the band
vancouver show was fantastic!!!!! the boys outdid themselves !!!! ritchie looked like he was having a ball and was the focus of attention for most of the night as glenn, mostly stayed over on the leftside of the stage with ian . i wont tell you about the stage show as i dont want to ruin the surprise for others still going but...... WOW!!!! rob seemed to be favouring his left leg ? motorcycle mishap still bugging him?? but still moved around alot and covered the whole stage , thin lizzy was great and BLS was good also except for the zac wylde solo which went from a fine display of skills to an uncomfartable amount of time on stage , almost shouting look at me look at me!! 5-7 minutes long ?? anyway bittersweet seeing them and realizing it could be the end of decades of live music from them . but they left with a bang ! thanks guys for the great tunes , great times and the memories

The JP crowd is an enthusiastic bunch, aren't we? LOL!!
Acolyte: nice comments but I can't help but cringe now in advance of the Zakk guitar solo. THAT has been the focus of many a review. It must really be sumfin'!
That's funny "try not to break a rib". When I saw Priest for the 30th tour in Cleveland my brother in law kept hitting the guy in front of him in the back of the head while he was pumping his fist in the air. The guy was cool about it and knew it was not on purpose. The seats were so close together it could not be helped.
guidogodoy wrote:
Yeah, I saw from some pix of the merch stand people have posted. Only problem is like the booklet...what the hell do you DO with them while you watch the show? Hell, I am anything but a "passive listener" when it comes to Priest. I am just hoping not to break any ribs! HAAAA!!!!
Also why I bought all my goods ahead of time. Dilemma, though. I already bought the shirt with nothing on back. I saw that they were selling it at the concert. Dumb move as I will probably buy the one with the world cities on back AT the concert! I mean, I HAVE to buy a shirt AT the concert, right? Of course! That is the best lookin' shirt, too. Ah well, I guess I'll have a backup.
