Another "Why Ticketmaster are fucking idiots" story.

When I went to ticketmaster to check Detroit/Chicago tickets I noticed a video that was titled
Heaven and Hell. I thought surely Tony Iommi isn't going back out with that name after Dio died.
So I clicked on and it started out announcing the tour and started listing band members. I hear
Ronnie James Dio and instantly I get a pit in my stomach and think man what a bunch of fucking
morons. They've had a year to get that shit down. WTF?

I don't know about the rest of the country but they've got to get the precsription drug problem around here
under control. I just read a few days ago that the county I live in has one of the highest rates of death from
overdose for population in Ohio. So far this year 14 people have died in this county alone from prescription
drug overdoses. The average around here is 14 for the entire year. There was a recent article here about pain
clinics in the area that actually had quotas to meet. The more pain pills they handed out the better it was for
the employees. One example. Work three days and get paid for five for dealing enough pain meds. One
person here was recently arrested for taking people to Florida to see doctors for pain meds. He would go down
with a few people and come back with thousands of pills. It is so obvious that this problem is out of hand.
I'll admit that most of my anger stems from my friend dying(OD'ing) earlier this year. Everyday that I drive to
and from work I drive by the exit I took to go to his house and I still get sad thinking about him. I'm near tears
right now writing this. Man I miss this dude.
I am of the belief that a person has the right to do to his body or put in his body anything he chooses to. The
problem I have with prescription meds is that alot of people have no clue just how addictive these things are
and find a doctor who only cares about that $50.00 office visit. He'll prescribe the meds knowing you'll get hooked
and keep coming back. Anyone considering doing a pain pill, try to think about the addiction factor. One pill may
not hurt you, ten pills may not hurt you, but be careful because you may find yourself doing them daily and
doing anything to get them. Don't worry though, this will only go on until they kill you.

Thats the spirit Hellrider!! I love Mr. Downing and always will,I love his guitars,his stage presence and inspirations of the "past" but right now his heart isn't into it and we should be glad he is not here because if he was it would be "fake". I do wish he never retired but by him doing so it gives the band a chance to push Judas Priest forwards as obviously you already know and gives the band a chance to create some "heavy metal" for a change. Maybe K.K.'s heart will come back to heavy metal 5 years from now.
I'm totally excited about the new album and no K.K. will not be a part of it or any live shows ect...but who knows,maybe they will release one more studio album after this upcoming one and maybe K.K. will return for JP's last studio album. Meanwhile we are going to get new material from our Favorite band,and thats awsome.
