Apparently not! must have something to do with aim? I fail to see how a neck warmer would impede my ability to pee, so it must be that! LOL

Thanks, laughing boy! Good to be back in one piece! More than 10 feet of snow, though! Base was something like 40 ft. Lassie would have needed a giraffe to assist had I fallen into a tree-well.

The black thing? That isn't a hand towel. It is my neck warmer.....look closely at the pic and you'll see how red / goggle burned my face is but my neck is still white.

Can't pee with a neck warmer on, now can we?

Forget my face...how does my HAIR look? BWAAHAAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!

That shot of me in the snowstorm almost makes it look like I had a hat. Nope. Hate them. Baseball hats are the only thing I wear irrespective of the temp. It was a headband with a fake "snow hat!"

Ok, don't want to end with that goofy shot...how'se 'bout some beauty. ME...erm, I mean the mountain. Park City.

I swear...I wish I would have taken a picture from the outside. Looked like any other. That is why I didn't even bother to take off my glasses so as there is usually nothing I want to set them down on and put them on my face afterwards! HAAAAAAA!!!!!!! LOVED the fake flowers, box of tissues and automatic towel dispenser. HAAAAAA!

The Caddie of all outhouses is in UTAH!

Lucky bastard!! Makes me miss Lake Tahoe. I went there four years ago for a school field trip around late winter/early spring. One day my class and I visited the lake itself and hung around near the areas  where there was still snow. We were about to leave when I noticed there were snow flurries coming down from the sky. We went nuts and yelled "It's snowing!!". Too bad the snow flurry-falling only lasted ten seconds. HA!!

Thanks. I have about 400 more should you care to see them! LOL!!!

You would have loved that snowstorm, Vail. Just DUMPED snow that day...all day. You could do one run in ski Park City until 7:30pm (most close at 4) which I usually did but on that day and at that elevation a freakin' fog rolled in at the summit on TOP of the snow! What weather! Could barely see a foot in front of your face.

Needless to say, I cut out at about 5 that day. An unseen mogul is a bad mogul...   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Saturday, March 14, 2009 2:26:38 PM)

That's a great shot, Guido!! Nothing better than snow on the branches of pine trees.

Welcome back!

Ah yes. Big tree, drift or, the worst, rocks/cliffs. What often looks like a slope turns out to be a a small cliff and, once committed, there is no stopping. Only thing is to jump and pray that you can cut back in the air and not hit a tree. Talk about an adrenaline rush.

The view was absolutely spectacular! I could just sit up on those hills forever. Wonder how I can change my day job to be able to afford such a lifestyle. Not exactly the cheapest of sport but, man, I love it. Camera doesn't even begin to do it justice.

So the snow up there isn't groomed at all and you could hit an almost dry spot or big drift at anytime. Sounds like skydiving, which I would try, but this, no way! I would pound a tree in no time flat! Yikes! But I would love to go to the top just to see a vista like that!

Those are gorgeous pictures Guido. Looks so relaxing. Thanks for sharing.

[guidogodoy] Saturday, March 14, 2009 1:25:22 PM
Exactly. That was the summit and, as you could expect, the wind is something fierce. Those pics are in pretty sequential order so the snow from the previous days gave it that "thin cover" (as opposed to "pack" snow).

Almost blew out a knee on that run but what a rush!

Thanks, Spa. Tree? Matter of fact, yes. Look at the idiot who is about to jump OFF that 9,900 ft elevation peak! LOL!!!  Double black diamond runs all the way down through the trees. Right after I got a guy to snap this shot of me, the ski patrol had to go off to rescue some fellow in trouble who went down before me. Cool rescue dog (big black lab or something) all anxious to go too. Hoping it wasn't the guy who took this picture. At that elevation, there were not too many people to ask. Cliffs, rocks and grade of the ungroomed run made it QUITE the chore as you could easily fall off the side of the mountain with a wrong turn. HAD to do it though! LOL!!!

Picture of an idiot (almost) in action! Hey, where are my gloves....?

[spapad] Saturday, March 14, 2009 1:17:20 PM
Kewl! Thin Cover? does that mean not much snow?
