It's not ???--I thought it was Deep Freeze--why would people spend their hard earned $ on jerseys , games, & tickets ??--I'll put it to ya this way DF ----grown men in uniforms hitting a black puck -- much like baseball players go after the baseball or football players run around in all sort of bad weather to get the Pigskin--so yeah hockey is a sport !!

Whatever happened to all the great Russian players??...as far as how far into the playoffs they go...they've been on the brink the last couple of years, so only making it and maybe one series is too low of a goal...with the free agent signings and managerial changes, our sights have to be higher than that!!

Hello Soy...the Blackhawks let one get away...5-2 entering the 3rd and they get a lousy point for losing in OT...this type of game can be demoralizing...I would be happy if they made it to the playoffs and won a round or two...that would be a huge step in this conference...we have the talent, no doubt about that...I don't think they've found the right combinations yet...but, they're working on it, I just don't want to endure too many more games like last nights game!! |

WHAT AN EXCITING ISLANDERS GAME. ALTHOUGH THEY LOST AGAIN THEY HAVE BEEN FUN AND EXCITING TO WATCH.THEY FOUGHT BACK ALL NIGHT AND TOOK 57 SHOTS ON NET. WITH SEVEN TENTHS OF A SECOND LEFT IN THE GAME THEY WERE POUNDING THE NET WHEN SOMEONE ON THE HURRICAINE CLOSED HIS HAND ON THE PUCK. THE REF AWARDED THE ISLANDERS A PENALTH SHOT. DOUG WEIGHT MISSED IT.

HEY RON...AND A GOOD SATURDAY TO YOU...I THINK YOUR HAWKS ARE GONNA BE OKAY THIS YEAR,THEY SHOULD DEFINATELY IMPROVE I WOULD THINK SOME GOOD TALENT ON THAT TEAM FOR SURE...AS FOR PENALTY KILL AND MAN ADVANTAGE,I WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR GUYS TOO MUCH,THAT'LL COME IN TIME...MY HABS HAD THE BEST POWER PLAY IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE LAST YEAR,SO I'M HOPING THAT TREND WILL CONTINUE  ...IT'S EARLY THOUGH,SO I DON'T USUALLY START THINKING ABOUT IT TOO MUCH UNTIL THE 20-25 GAME MARK...AS WITH ALL PRO LEAGUES THE GOOD TEAMS USUALLY START TO PULL AWAY FROM THE PACK AND CREATE SOME SPACE (INJURIES ASIDE OF COURSE)...THERE'S A LOT OF EXPERIENCE IN YOUR CONFERENCE,SO A POSSIBLE PLAYOFF APPEARANCE AND DECENT FIRST ROUND SHOWING WOULD BE A POSITIVE SIGN FOR YOUR TEAM...WHAT DO YOU THINK?...BUT HEY...YOU NEVER KNOW,STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED...KEEP THE FAITH.
