I just don't get it. Never have. Why would Priest choose to stay with these inept group of bufoons is beyond me. Row 23 is still up for DTE? Man, I don't think any amount of your concoction or even generous spraying of Febreze is going to make this "bullshit - highly respected " management company smell the least bit better.
Still, like you, I'll be holding the rail in spite of them.

The only positive thing about a half arena is it won't look so empty and will be a bit more cozy I suppose. Thanks to Curbishly, don't give a shit management, we dont' have any other choices as they don't care to advertise. The sad part about the Chicago show is it's only 3,300 capascity and it's still not yet sold out on the General Admission flooring. Might be a blessing for those on the floor, but probably not much of a blessing for ticket sales. Depressing.
Well, you know, when you are in bed with part of your management team, you aren't exactly thinking!
DAMN STRAIGHT!!! Can't wait to hold down the rail with you and the other Priest faithful from this board in 2 months!! At least the Chicago show did better with ticket sales, although the capacity is much less than Joe Louis Arena.

Yes, it is extremely fucking sad to me that it is going this way!!! You can still buy row 23 floor seats for Detroit. But the problem here is this, IMO: NO FUCKING PROMOTION FOR THE SHOWS!! I had to work this past weekend and had the radio on. Not once did I hear a Priest song or mention of the tour! They played a band that is coming to Detroit in November and announced that show over and over again and I just kept thinking - that should be PRIEST they are talking about! When Ozzy came around last December, Ozzy bought advertising time and did a commercial announcing the show. It was played over and over again on this same radio station, which led to the DJ's playing more of his music and of course announcing the show as well. You have to spend money to make money, it's business 101. So why can't Priest spend a couple hours one day recording ad spots to help ticket sales? I've talked to so many people that like Priest and they had no idea they were even touring or that they were playing in Detroit in November! But, what the hell do I know, I'm not their management that is highly respected by everyone....
sad day for Priest at the izod center in NJ - 11/18/11. Half of the arena is roped off and the stage has been moved up to the middle of the arena. i guess they are already anticipating poor tix sales and they are figuring the toal capacity at the show to be 8,000, if that. The arena holds 20,000. I am also hearing tix sales have been poor in detroit and other parts of the US. IMO JP has saturated the US market in recent years touring here every summer pretty much since 2006 and add in KK's departure and Priest will not be seeing the crowds in the US that have had in Europe and South America/Mexico on this Epitaph tour. The sun is surely setting here in the US for Priest. Time to wave goodbye one last time.

Why only some come through? Yes, I can explain it. HTML markup code only supports certain letters (code) by default. Russian (Cyrillic) doesn't include all letters in the standard ASCII character set. Same goes for those who have tried to show a Judas Priest font here. Such a font set would have to be downloaded by the user to be seen properly.
Same goes for most diacritics that are not part of the standard ASCII code.

Ok, so I have to download something that will fix it? Well, being a windows user, thats nothing new. And I will have to look up which other alphabet also uses "š" so that it gets through here. I suspect the Italians - its just like them to screw around with us.
Until then I will have to resort to transliterations -the horror!

Maybe you should try to learn cyrillic, to be more like the worlds best looking past and future president? If not a few of those silly letters would do you good. Then at least you could find places like Nju Jork, Vošington, Los En?eles or Gothem on the map.
Setting aside the bullshit, I hope you will have a good time in Brazil - and I hope that the Brazilians dont. They won it far too many times, maybe they should let someone else have the honour once in a while.

Oh, so you are a baseball fan, then? Good. You and Freeze can play together online. His fantasy team (I think they were called "the bench warmers") against yours. Djokovic, though for "?okovi?" - Hmmm...remember that your silly letters don't translate here. Get in step with the rest of the civilized world and speak in the Queen's English, won't you? At least use the King's.
As for Pacman, you had it there?! Did it arrive last year? What were the names of the ghouls that chased ol' Pac around? Dclovic, Blavlovic, Kravokocic and Phil? LOL!!!!
Look for me in Brasil during the next World Cup. I volunteered to help clean out the street crime so that the players can make it to the stadiums. Seriously, worst part is flying into Rio's Galeao airport and trying to get to the Maracaná stadium. I plan to exert my AUTHORITAH!

You did root for the Spanish in the final tho. No matter if they werent your first choice - the Dutch certainly werent mine. But we will meet again (maybe) in Brazil in three years.

Djokovic was ranked #1 for a reason. Some of those returns were just out of this world. I was particularly happy to see that Novak has, apparently, gotten over his "I have an owie" phase where he would bow out of a match with the slightest of aches. THAT was really pissing me off. There, I'll give Rafa credit. See when he went into cramps during the press conference? The Novak of old would have called it quits right there.

Engleski je za pedere! That, and you dont speak the queens English - except if that queen is Joy Farrah Darville Hickey Turner, wife (and sister and cousin, and probably dad as well) of Earl Jehoshaphat Hickey the first.

As for fuuuutbol, you know that I put Spain second against Brasil. Always have. I put both in front of México in terms of my fav teams. That said, Spain is doing pretty well in the Davis Cup (tennis). Ah, but who cares about that....go back to NASCAR! turn turn turn turn lol

I truly do miss you guys. My time is spent over on that diabolical FaceBook where it is far more appropriate to promote the band. Here, it just seems so rude...although I do it with remarkable regularity! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
College footabll is back so you guys KNOW I am a happy guy, Settling in to watch some games before my beloved alma mater takes the field this afternoon. We are leaving town tomorrow for a photo shoot out in ZION Park tomorrow. For those of you that have never heard of it, I encourage you to "Google" this place! It is stunning. GREAT place for pictures and will make for a wonderful Press Kit when completed!!! Have a look!

Hey! DF! Good to see you out and about here, man!
While I had read of people requesting presents from you, no matter. (but just in case, I'd like a new bike)
So, you've become a Zionist in your absence? Very interesting. Do post some pix of the band when you are able. Be sure to comb your hair and, by all means, NEVER smile! As we all know, good rock groups never smile when doing press shoots.

The heat hasn't affected California much, either. There were significant heatwaves here and there, but they weren't that bad. Still, I'm looking forward to Fall and for the cooler weather. Not so much for the 'driving in the rain' thing, though.
[J.D. DIAMOND] Thursday, September 01, 2011 8:42:24 PM
Wow I forgot most the country had a massive heat wave ect....wow spa that must of sucked if you don't like hot weather. Man here in Seattle it has been the BEST summer I have had in YEARS it has been SOOO comfortable with NO heat and the most important part...."no humidity"!!
The humidity here is too much and its too uncomfortable during July and August but man not this year, the entire summer has been beautiful 75 degrees and sunny the whole time and for Seattle thats a rare feature as it rains most the time here so man I really lucked out this year and now it looks like we here in Seattle cleared the heat wave throughout the U.S. So good thing for you that this summer is gone then.
I personaly never like to see a summer go, but this one has been so hot that I really won't miss it too terribly much. Our yard still looks like really short hay and smells like dried hay when you cut it.

I really wasn't much. The fifth floor people were actually concerned that something in the building's support had just been comprimised because we have almost 5 tons of exercise equipment being stored on floors 4 and 5. Tremor was the last thing on their minds until they found out I felt it on the ground floor and that part is in a different wing from theirs.
So glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as it seemed!! I guess they felt it all the way to Cleveland and even in Detroit. Didn't feel anything here, but I was cranking Priest and I don't think I would have noticed any additional shaking, LOL!

I was sort of vegged out at my desk staring at the computer, and it felt like someone was nudging my chair. There wasn't anyone in the office at the time to ask, did you feel that? I just guessed I just had a really strange day dream. Then the fifth floor called and the building swayed enough up there to scare the crap out of them. lol

Glad it didn't do any serious damage - NZ knows all too well what earthquakes can do We get small ones quite regularly, sometimes you hear them before you feel them which can be quite scary.
