We had very little snowpack in the Sierra Nevadas this year. In fact, the govenor of the state declared our current water restrictions after visiting the site where snowpack is measured every year. Usually there would be 1-5 feet of snow in that particular area. This year? Nothing. Just dead grass.

I only wish I could have sent some of the rain we got here in the past two weeks back to you Vail. We were getting pretty dry but past the first five days of rain, it was just a bit excessive.
