its a realy heavy car. and I hate to admit it but GM has chrysler beat in quality control. not that beating chrysler is much of a feat.

Top right pic below is a ride similar to the one directly below it.
The one below it spins 360 while it's swinging. Anyway, it takes you up 140ft. and swings back down 60mph.
The one below goes 120ft. up. Sometimes your looking straight up and sometimes straight down.
They're both cool.

The right side I took. The left side is a pic (of a pic) of the original Hotel Breakers in 1905. It has (of course)
been added to and expanded over the years. We were in the older part. The room was nothing to brag about
but the resort is awesome and I liked the history part of it. |

Rode it twice in front car, this ride is the sh*t. Get launched down a straightaway at 120mph,
then go vertical 420 feet, slow down near the top, creep over the edge then corkscrew vertical
back down the 420ft.. here's what I overheard one girl telling another. "When you ride the Top Thrill Dragster,
when the ride is over, you don't even know what just happened."

Bud, the people that are "ignoring" you are people that make an account just so they can hit that ignore button and give you fewer respect points so that it looks like they are more liked on the board than anyone else (their real account). It's stupid, petty and childish. They want to be part of the group but they aren't because they are FAKES and completely insincere which everyone reading their posts can figure out. I finally took the time to check out the purpose of this thread, and I only have to say that everyone has his own way to start here...of course not all of them do the way the rest expect...but who cares about the rest anyway??? Just show up a couple of hours early, try to figure out where they may enter the building, and wait.
If it's a smaller venue you'll see him. I've done it between 20 and 30 times and it only failed a couple of times.
If it's an arena you can probably forget it. Much tougher, more security.

You could almost say that! hahaha My dad and I (Thanks to him introduced me to the priest when I was 5! I'm 19 now..) saw them once in '04, and I luckily got to meet Rob Halford after the concert. And then, on the '05 Retribution tour, it was 15x acrosss the U.S. on first and second legs of the tour, once in '08 and then once more in '09 to see the British Steel 30th Ann. tour. It was jaw-dropping amazing and I've loved every concert.

I'm believing most of what I found and I understand the debut's (sales and rank's) thing,

Keep in mind album sales drop every year, so while nost may be the highest ranked debut, it will have lower debut sales totals than certainly anything since BS, probably earlier. As I recall turbo was the first to go platinum, folowed by SFV. the rest probably needed the remaster issue to put them over the top.

Just starting the day day with a little java and British Steel blasting on the surround sound.
I asked a question yesterday in Nostradamus thread that I was hoping someone could answer.
I'm not ripping the album anymore, I know people here like it and that's cool. What I'm curious
about is how it sold compared to other Priest LP's? I've never heard how good/bad it did.
Anyone?
