I am not interested in your insults as I do not consider you a "peer" or even a significant member of this Board but I am annoyed by your disgusting arrogance and treatment of others. It is a surprise to me because before the internet I never met any Priest fan who liked this album. But now I read of these members from way out in the sticks in the middle of the country quoteing at ME this here "Roling Stone" magazine.
I look forward to some of your future posts but it would be more interesting if they were more relevant. Feedback on spelling should be beneath someone with such knowledge(?) & command of the english language. Once you go to college now a days you get feedback on content and style not spelling. You should try it. As far as interpreting sarcasm, not many can understand this from a post on the computer. You actually have to get deep into the post where your simple surface scan for spelling would render you naive or ignorant in anything you post. Do you do cut ups?
No I have never set foot in a "wall-mart" nor do I follow Paris hilton, in case that wasn't obvious. Is that waht a good Brittish Steal fan do?

In the first place British Steel is a very important album in their career which includes "Breaking The Law", a metal hymn, absolute classic, one of the best tracks in the history of heavy metal. Nostradamus is a wonderful album Priest are really proud of. It`s their most ambitious project to date. An album that shows their versatility and experience as musicians. They dared to do something different within the genre and most important of all they did it from their hearts.
Both albums would be great live. Priest always kick ass live, the shows are awesome, they never disappoint me. Looking forward to seeing them in Chile again!!! |

Thank you Becks [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Wednesday, June 10, 2009 6:16:40 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Well said, Ron | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Keyd, I do not "take it too personal" you're comments about British Steel, you're entitled to them...what I do find disturbing is your lack of tact, it's the ability to have a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense... | | Keyd wrote: | |
Don't hold your breath headbanger. It's not so much that people will learn (as those in question who are defending Brittish Steel are probably not capable of learning much) but if it makes them better people subconsciously that would be an improvement. Plus those who have supported the band and seen these silly Brittish Steel songs for years will benefit if Priests steps up their current live set. Those issues seem more important than having those simple people "learn" about music. Both Rob & Glenn have said that the almost 3 hour Nostradamus set will not have an opening band. I'm sure you missed that but you can start making plans for a family night of Hannah Montana. We definitely don't want you at the venue talking over the masterpieces on Nostradamus or spilling your light beers all over the place while we are trying to enjoy one of the best shows ever.
Ron please don't take it too personal I am sure you are knowledgeable in other areas but some of the others who just "found" Brittish Steel should not waste commenting until they are more knowledgeable and can do more than quote mainstream reviews of this Brittish Steel that they read in Wall-Mart or in Rolling Stone comparing it to "other Metal Classics" like Deep Purple's Machine Head. And why would I want to jam out to a car? Yes Ron, it was unanimous-Everyone in my area who was a Judas Priest fan before Brittish Steel was disappointed with that release. As I mentioned before it may have been different in the deep suburbs of Oklahoma. By the time we heard the solo for Headin out the Highway for the first time, we burst into laughter and began playing it left handed. I like it better now by the way but it is quite simple and dumbing-just get a good tone and play it cool.
Spandex? Brittish Steel is what many people think of when they hear the word spandex. Perhaps you are the pot calling the kettle black? Are you going to wear them to the show? Also, maybe those red pants will be back on stage for this Brittish Steel tour. It would be only fitting.
