Post here the description and links for this type of the bands. If anybody wants to know something else about the band you posted here he can use "private message" option))) I wanted to make such thread because I always find many enteresting bands in other countries (in Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary etc.) Also of course we hail lyrics translations! ;)

Oh, IDK, I guess sarcasm directed at someone who answered your question because you asked it, could count as insolence.

Ummm...... how about fuckin' RAMMSTEIN!
[Deep Freeze] Sunday, February 22, 2009 9:24:18 AM

Hmm....And with youth apparently comes insolence?.. Inevitably.

why did you ask in the first place, if you were going to be sarcastic?    Well;

sarcasm (n): a mode of wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic or often ironic language directed at an individual.

It would have been fairly difficult for me to employ sarcasm without responding to his query, no?  Of course, Redneck has two "e"s in it and Freeze has two "e"s so....well...ummm...

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With age comes wisdom, with wisdom comes sarcasm... Obviously.

And why did you ask in the first place, if you were going to be sarcastic?

Ok... Moving away from tasteless grammar-maniacs, lets get back on topic.

Finntroll... A Finnish band, sings in Finnish language, and has a really great song called "Trollhammaren".

Uhhhh..."Yugoslavia?" You are making that name up, aren't you? I mean, a friend of mine had a car called a Yugo but it burst into flames a week after he bought it. LOL!!!  They name the country after the car?

Is Russia close to Prussia? Sounds the same. Either that or it is next to Constantinople or the island of Hispañola.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Saturday, February 21, 2009 2:55:42 PM)

None of those bands are unknown, obscure or lesser known. Aria is really famous in Russia, as is Arkona, and Divlje Jagode are a legend in fmr. Yugoslavia. I guess what Russian Priest meant is bands that are not known to a global audience. And of course, bands that dont sing in English.

well I dont think this is a nonfamous band because they are well known in Latin America, but I'm pretty sure you don't know them, Rata Blanca fom Argentina....
I'll try to look for the vid when they played with Glenn Hughes, and another band from Spain called Barón Rojo...

[_strat_] Saturday, February 21, 2009 11:01:22 AM
Well, I know a band called Prolitaja Krov (which Im guessing means "spilled blood", right?), but I dont like them very much. As for Arkona, I love the way they mix heavy metal with folk music, specialy in their use of instruments. They get a very interesting sound out of it. And the female vocals work out nicely too.

Aria is cool too, tho I must say that I dont know much about their music. Those links of yours are very usefull! I will check out more from them.

Thats it, tho. We dont get much of anything from Russian music scene over here, Im afraid... Well, apart from TATU, but they sucked, imo.

Motori is real funny))) Old hard-rock school))) I like it!
