I just finally bit the bullet and forked over the dinero for Half-Life Orange Box. STILL a lot as I already own the game and episode 1 but episode 2 + Portal for $30. Eh....been dying to play it.

I live in Southwest VA, and the Cap Center, is 5 hours away, which I would gladly do, or Bristow, in Manassas, But thusfar no love for the South! Closest thing is Cinci! Would like something closer!
Great you get to take your Son! Flora almost always is out of the country when the good shows are going on! Maybe, just maybe they wont forget something a little further south! Fingers Crossed!

I am so psyched. My son's first concert and it will be Priest and Whitesnake. Not to mention they will be playing all of British Steel ! Not bad for someone's first show ! He always gets kind of screwed since his birthday is Dec 20 so it's nice to able to do something cool for him sometime during the year.

oh yeah I know,, it spendy to travel anywhere now a days.. All my family is in Northern MN.. SO I will prob get a hotel closer to the event... then I dont have to drive at nite, ect.. for 2 1/2 hours back to my cousins house.. They live in Buffalo MN, and I dont want to deal with the traffic, and that.. LOL I have no patience.. for that anymore.. I lose it in traffic..

Yeah I will be driving down the day before the show.. it will take me 9 hours to get there from my house.. I dont know If I want to leave july 1st or july 2nd.. Prob the 1st.. since it will take all day in the fricken car..
But what the hell.. Its my home town, and there will be great food and great music.. Gives me something to look forward to.. And getting to spend that special day with some of the sinful priest girls!!!!
