He may not, Cat's show affection by biting but they usually don't bite hard, but he's got baby teeth, Ouch!
My dog Lucy thinks my hand belongs in her mouth each time I pet her, I'll get her to calm
down someday. LOL Maybe. Hard to believe she came home all timid and shy. No more! Black Shadow, your kittie is very pretty! I know all about the biting stage. My lucy isn't even puppy anymore and chews on things you wish she'd leave be. Those pics with Flora are so heartwarming! Beautiful! The bond between your children and pets is so pure and beautiful. We had a siamese cat called Fiona and when Zakk was born, she just claimed him. She'd attack the other cats if they dared even look at him. She went everywhere he did. Slept with him, let him tug her tail, followed him outdoors when he played. I even have a pic somewhere of him lying next to her and it looks like she's nursing him lol.
Tragically, she was chased in front of a car by a menacing stray tom cat and she died pretty much on impact. I was totally distraught and although Zakk was too young to figure out death, he spoke about her for a few years after. I told him she had gone to away to live somewhere else and he seemed to accept it at the time. Now he's older (4) and he understands what it means when people and pets die. He grieves and understands that it happens. | | spapad wrote: | | My tribute to my best dog ever. Max. Officially, "Dawn's Blue Max" What a character he was! LOL Steve! It's hilarious when cats start going bananas like that. Our burmese boy does it, he goes off his rocker for no reason, starts tearing around like a loon, jumping all over the furniture, all the while his tail is puffed up making him look like Basil Brush [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Necroticist from Tuesday, May 12, 2009 11:51:52 AM) | | Necroticist wrote: | | Decided this cat is insane...we bought him a cuddly mouse on a string - the daft sod has the string in it's teeth, running down the hallway, wonders what's chasing it and goes all 'Terminator' on it's ass....LMAO!
