Corn exchange? last time i was there was roadie for The Steve Gibbons Band...lol - many years ago - um have to disagree on Nostradamus...i had it pre-release and made my feelings quite clear on it here...to me is a pile of proverbial. If u wanna know about classic gigs u should ask the wife about Priest/Budgie gig - think it was '76..(where's that Tardis when ya need it?) I totally agree - were at their worst whenever Nik Turner returned, some shows were legendary...dunno if u seen the video 'Night Of The Hawks' - was recorded in Ipswich - i'm on it..and the show absolutely sucked. Bob Calvert? omg...he was a complicated man...his ideas and lyrics were awesome...but sadly we lost him..i gotta admit i preferred Hawkwind without him. No - never roadied Motorhead - but Lemmy did used to stay here with a friend - til he tried to pull his wife...met him several times over the years. Hawkwind i DID work with - so obviously we met occasionally. Limewire? omg - be very careful there - we refer to it as 'virus-wire', torrents are a lot safer, or just ask - i'll send the stuff over MSN, several radio stations use me as a source, i have yet to see a bigger music collection. I could reccomend several safer places to d/l music... [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Budred from Tuesday, August 17, 2010 12:43:33 PM) | | Budred wrote: | | Agreed! I've bought everything Priest, and Halford has put out but I have
to find all these bonus tracks on LimeWire. I feel like I'm taking away from them but if
you have to purchase the disc, then purchase the Japanese version, then purchase the
remaster just to get one album and a couple of bonus tracks then I'd rather steal it. | | Necroticist wrote: | | Small rant - but it pisses me off how bands release a CD then 'Jap only' Trax, or itunes, then remasters/digipaks....it gets stupid and i'm sorry to say Halford is a prime example...prolly half the fans don't realise there's bonuses to the JP live CD....it sucks imo.... |
