CONGRATS TO THE CALGARY STAMPEDERS ON BEATING MONTREAL 22-14  ...A MUCH LOWER SCORE THAN I HAD ANTICIPATED,BUT A VERY ENTERTAINING GAME NONETHELESS...OVER 66,000 RAUCOUS CANADIANS (AND EVEN MET SOME YANKS THAT CAME UP TO CATCH THE BIG GAME, MET A GROUP OF 3 FROM ALASKA ) FROM EVERY CORNER OF OUR COUNTRY PACKED THE BIG O...ALL TEAMS WERE WELL REPRESENTED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE FANS...MADE SOME NEW FRIENDS...THE BEER WAS ONLY $6 A BOTTLE,REASONABLE,THANK YOU MR.MOLSON...GOT MY PICTURE TAKEN WITH THE GRAND TROPHY AND GOT SOME GOOD CLOSE-UP VIDEO OF TWO MOUNTIES CARRYING THE GREY CUP FROM THE PARTY VILLAGE TO BE LOADED INTO THE VAN THAT WAS DELIVERING HER TO THE GAME...ONE OF THE MOUNTIES WAS A DAMN FINE LOOKING LADY TO BOOT  ...SHE LOOKED SO GREAT IN THAT UNIFORM,VERY REGAL TO SAY THE LEAST...HENRY BURRIS WON THE MVP OF THE GAME,

This is annoying...Why in the name of God is Eagles HC Andy Reid starting lame duck McNabb Thursday against Arizona??? UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I normally am not one for advocating someone losing their job, but Coach Reid needs to be shown the door and he can take D-Mac with him. I'm sickened at the dreadfulness my favorite team has become in recent years. The term 'loser' comes to mind here. |

I went to this years labour day game, great atmosphere. had the cf18's fly over to start it off. the crowd there is actualy tamer than sask games though, the watermellon heads are nuts.
