Turbo was the only album that ever shocked me, and not in a good way. We metalheads were dying for a traditional heavy metal album in the current wave of horrid hair bands and we got Turbo......oh no. Aside from locked in on side one (loved the video BTW), we have Parental Guidance, Private Property, Rock you all Around the World....no, no, and no. Ya, so not in love with that album, and my 21 year old self was crushed by this release. lol

The song " Parental Guidance" off the Turbo album is 100% TERRIBLE in my opinion. It stinks,sucks and blows.
But THAT doesn't mean I'm not a true Judas Priest fan,it just means on that album(Turbo) they sucked and SOLD OUT to the crappy commercial American glam rock market at that time 1986. The other songs on Turbo...that's another subject ...but Parental Guidance is the WORST track JP has EVER written hands down. But because of THAT ....you think your a better Judas Priest FAN than I? Nope. Ain't EVER gonna happen. Your nowhere near the Priest fan I am.Nowhere near.

I've always liked Wild Nights(Hot N Crazy Days)....gave me the same vibe as Don't have to be old to be wise but in a more commercial way....love the synths on that track. Reckless is the best track on Turbo...kind of gives you a Devil's Child vibe ...Glenn's solo in Reckless has always blown my mind, used to stand in front of the mirror with a guitar acting like I was playing it when I was 16. But we're not "true" Judas Priest fans cause we don't like EVERY song they make. Ha.What a joke huh.....

Oh, Parental Guidance is HORRIBLE! I'd also argue (as I have) that Turbo should be replaced by "Locked in!" While they did do a good job of the former, I still argue that the latter was better!
