Got it....sorry, man. I wasn't here either else I would have responded immediately as well.
I DO hope he is ok! At least PM to let me know how he is doing as I (as one of many) certainly care. Awww ... Necro! Of course we care, man! Sorry, but I was out dealing with some real life situations earlier myself and couldn't be here to respond immediately ... Here's hopin' he's OK. Again, apologies for not being here earlier, and most especially that you feel no one here cares. Best to all! I WAS WITH MY WIFE AND KIDS. WE WERE IN LAKE GEORGE ABOUT AN HOUR NORTH OF ALBANY 2 HOURS SOUTH OF MONTREAL, 5 HOURS FROM HOME. I LEFT MY CAR UP THERE. NEEDED THE HEAD GASKETS REPLACES. RENTED A CAR TO GET HOME. THEN HAD TO GO BACK UP A FEW DAYS LATER WHEN THE CAR WAS FIXED.
THE VACATION WAS GREAT SIMPLE AND VERY RELAXING. BUT THE STRESS OF THE CAR GOT TO ME A LITTLE. THANK GOD IT BROKE DOWN WHERE I COULD GET HELP.
MY METS ARE DONE.
ISLANDERS TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS FRIDAY.

BUT ALL IS FIXED AND HOPEFULLY THINGS CAN GET BACK TO NORMAL.
DRIVING 11 HOURS ROUND TRIP TO GET THE CAR ALONE WITH NOTHING BUT METAL ON THE CD'S WAS ENJOYABLE. |

Bad news when you have a whole bunch of fans all having to confer with one another just to figure out what song the band is playing. | | Head banger wrote: | | should have seen the poor fool running the sound board when I saw motorhead and sabath in 95. small venue with crap sound. the guy (same for both bands) started with every single switch and slide up at its highest position, then adjusted downwards. by the end of motorhead I could at least recognize some songs, by the end of sabath I could identify a few actual words in the vocals. just horible. | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Yeah, I do agree that their sound was poor. Yeah that's true, can't argue with that. My guess is the sound guy is inexperienced with big venues. I have been to concerts with bad sounding opening acts a lot, like in May when I saw Opeth w/Enslaved here in Tucson at the Rialto Theater, Enslaved's sound had to much reverberation and a little too high in volume, but Opeth was perfect sound wise and absolutely rocked the house. But Priest was great and that's what really matters in the end.
