Well it does look tiny on the world map, but it could be worse! We have an island in the Chesapeak Bay called Tangier Island. Talk about deprived! This island I can walk in length in fifteen minutes. When I was there years ago the "cool guy" on the island to the girls was a guy with a moped! LOL This place is bodaciously small!
