Makes sense if you think about it, though. What is the first thing that a baby human (or any baby mammal in general) takes in as soon as its born? Milk! Some birds happen to feed a milk-like substance to their chicks as soon as they hatch before moving on to mostly regurgitated solid food. Sounds like a fitting name, methinks.
Besides, if you take on the oh so famous milk challenge and lose, all that milk WILL look like puke slurry.

OK,............anything that gets spat up is not milk, don't care how they want to phrase it. Flamingos are pink because of the shrimp diet. I'd love to join them in that diet as I LOVE shrimp, but I'd go poor rather fast.
