Thanks for the link mate!
LOL, (on the guitar note) yesterday my uncle brought home an inflatable guitar.. haha I stole it off him and started pulling Glenn moves in the loungeroom, My brother had my bass and was doing the Ian moves... We had Rising in the East on. It's just too damn hard not to imitate them when watching the live dvd's. Oh Oh, and I learnt Green Manalishi yesterday... I'm so proud of myself. I only started playing again this week, old lucy (My Bass) had been untouched in a good 6 months.

Does anyone know where I'd be able to order a giant window sticker of the Judas priest logo, I've seen heaps of people who have their favourite bands logo stuck to their rear car window.... I want one!! |

Awesome! I've heard Ian is hard to photograph because he's always moving. I felt a little silly laying there on the floor, but somehow I doubt any guitarist in the world would complain!
Don't sweat hte mom stuff - my mother is a rabid Def Leppard fan and totally badass. If she knew I didn't know the words to Rocket, she'd disown me

NICE!! I once stumbled onto a Glenn radio interview during what was probably the worst day of my life. He is awesome.
Yesterday I practiced on my V for what felt like hours. My neck started to hurt so much that I decided to play laying flat on my back on the carpet.

Tony Iommi giving tips on how to play guitar..... so we look up gazing at the screen in awe.... we keep waching.... THEN.... a clip from Vengeance 82 plays... Glenn pops up on screen to give an interview..... we scream "PRIEST!".... high five each other then laugh... hahaha.... We then went to browse the guitars and found a flying V, started singing Devils Child.... we have listened to Priest wayyyy too much.... |

Yeah... fat chance, I have to mow the lawn today... Gah! I'll have to chill a few beers for afterwards. I need to take a trip to the beach.. Went fishing on the weekend, that was good.. had a nice breeze blowing across the water. We got a storm that night, and looks like today is going to result in one as well. They're pretty spectacular... as long as nothing is damaged. We've had a few bad one's recently.
So when you get "snow storms" do you get lightning and thunder? Last night it was like 24 degrees with the wind chill factor here, and during the day mybe 31 degress? My pond and pool cover is covered in ice. | | devils_child wrote: | | FRICKEN HOT!!! It's not so much the heat of the sun... which mind you will fry you to a crisp in 8 minutes... it's the humidity level. I live on the North East Coast, so it's semi tropical... anyone who lives further north than here is nuts in my eyes. We had a cool change yesterday, but the humidity has come back with a vengeance today... I'm perpetually sweating.... it's gross. I thank God we have airconditioning in our livingroom. | | VICTIM OF METAL wrote: | | How's Australia weather this time of year? I'm on the east coast here in the states and it's very cold as of the last 24hrs.. | | devils_child wrote: | | That's awesome, My mum got me into all the good metal. I haven't forgotten all the crazy stuff my mum used to do... haha now i do the same things.. She used to have her headbanging group of friends, they used to come round with all their gear on.. I always thought they were cool. Now I have my own metal vest and wristbands etc.. They had a big influence on me. | | VICTIM OF METAL wrote: | | Ahhh, my kids will forget the foolish things i do now, later in life.... I hope? My one daughter is totally into Bruce Dickinson, so i've got a fellow Maiden fan. I been trying to get her into some Priest. So far so good, but not like Maiden. She loves them. She has seen them live on their last tour with with the wife and myself. | | devils_child wrote: | | It's probably because Dave and Adrian don't have many "moves".... Steve has the headbanging thing going on and the fast fingers.. . I trade off between Glenn and K.K... then i'll do the Ian bass moves... ahaha just have to watch the ceiling if i have my bass in hand.
That's probably what's good about being home alone when everyones at work..... I can jump all over the furniture and sing loudly..... without getting looks. | | VICTIM OF METAL wrote: | | I'll admit it, i throw in a live dvd, if it's priest air guitar is either Glenn or K.K.. But put on Maiden, and all of a sudden i'm a bass nut? |
