I know that you all have provided the fans with decadent Metal for over 40 years, this makes it rather hard to choose an appropriate set list I could imagine. You have stated that you will try to pick a song off of every album spanning your career, and I would like to add my thoughts to this. I'm an 18 year old from a small town in central Kentucky, and my friend and I (also my sister, she demands to be listed as well, she is fascinated by Ian's masterful bass playing skills) ventured to Tennessee in 2009 to see you during the 30th anniversary British Steel Tour. That show in Nashville was a complete and utter orgasm to my ears and the rest of my body, I couldn't believe that your music could be so demanding of my energy, but -pardon my language- i fucking loved it and could not stop jumping up and down with my pink glow sticks (yes, pink. I'm just that metal!) take a look back through your metal memory and see if you remember me? I'm sure the stadium does I also broke a a lot of chairs from my hyped energy and jumping...anyways on with the point. I have no idea why your interests would spawn to reading posts from a small-town Kentucky boy, but here are my choices I think should be enacted on! Thanks for your time HERO HERO's :D. Bye! The lyrics combined with the huge, EPIC feel of the song would make for one of the most POWERFUL live moments in the history of Heavy Metal. |
