I love when the yards turn emerald green, for just that short while, then they go dark green. But it's magic when they are that emerald color.

Still got dead twiggy trees around here but that will change soon. I love to watch the progress of spring around here. Everyday I head towards the East River Mountain Tunnel and it's not offically warm here until the green goes all the way to the top of the mountain, it will take till around the end of April.

| It was a wundershöner Tag (a beautiful day) today!! Sunny with highs in the low 70s. Love this city at this time of year. Chinese Tallow trees everywhere are in bloom, looking like big bushels of popcorn standing on the sidewalks. Vewy pwetty. |
