It's really funny how things work out in the end. You just never know what "experience" you get from one job will actually help you land the job you really want! For example, I was a bagger at the supermarket - back when people actually bagged your groceries and the cashier could fly through your order. I also had to bring all the grocery carts in from the parking lot, back when they didn't have motorized things to push them for you. When I interviewed for my Med Tech job, the supervisor looked over my previous jobs and asked me about that job. When I told her what I did, she got wide eyed and said, "That's hard work, pushing all those carts." I told her that the worst was in the winter when there was a foot of snow! She was impressed by the fact that I took a job like that and did it for 2 years when I could have done something much easier. So you just never know what might impress someone. I believe that things happen for a reason and every job I had before helped me get my Med Tech job.

Good Morning and a wonderful Independence Day to all !!!!!! Yes, I am up rather early today! GREAT fireworks display last night as they are apparently "ramping up" for tonight!!!! It was awesome!
Well, BIG day today! We are heading out for an All-American tradition of BASEBALL!!! Yep! Have tickets to see my beloved Dodgers play today! We will be taking off from the hotel in a few hours. Decided to make it truly special so I am surprising the Princess by having the hotel take us in a Town car!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fitting, I should think! "Bitterman!! To the ballpark and step on it..!!" HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!! Those of you that follow the game may know that it is the Fox Game of the Week so watch for us on TV!!!!!! (I will be the fat, old guy screaming PRIEST!!!!!!!!!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!) |

I put in a token half day at work! I was too bored to stay longer, even brought DVDs but all they did was remind me there is nothing going on, not a thing for me to do but answer the phone about once every thirty minutes and I was feed up by the end of 4 hours.
