HAA!!! Could be. I must have been the only guy not to "love Raymond." Never watched the show (or Star Search, really). Couldn't tell you.

I loved watching Star Search but for the singing not the models etc--I remember I had a big  crush on Joey Gian--he was a gorgeous man who looked kinda like Andy Gibb--I was madly in lust & I even bought the Star Search album with the best performances on it just for his 1 song --now I couldn't tell ya who the other singers were--I forgot them but he turned my socks back then

I think it was up against Real People or People Are Real --hosted by John Davidson

A roaring drunk Ed? Was he a pisshead? What kind of antics did he get up to?

I bet 70% couldn't find their own ass with both hands and a flashlight!

What show did it run against? No idea. I was too busy playing Atari.

I know, but I bet they could have got Ed right! 60% of American may very well not be able to locate their own state on a map without help. LOL

I would bet you Jay Leno could have done a Jay walk, just showing the idiots on the street his photo and at LEAST 60% percent would have known who he was. For a Jay walk show, that's Icon status!

It looks like an amazing show guido, but is it enough to elevate Ed to icon status?

Star Search 1983-95 McMahon was the host. Brittany and Justin were among the young stars to appear! Man, you guys don't know what you missed....
