Sharks and tidal waves lol.
It is getting out of hand now isn't it? I'm finding it strange coincidence that it seems to be always on a Thursday too. I guess the best thing to do is sit back and find some humor in it. lol [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ronhartsell from Thursday, June 25, 2009 3:55:06 AM) | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Good morning Metalheads

In sticking with my usual Thursday curse: my car died this morning lol. Had to load the kids up into Craig's pick up and drop them at school. Now we're waiting for the spares to arrive so that my car can be repaired. FFS.. what is it with me and car mishaps on a thursday?
On a positive note the idiot who drove into me has reported her case to her insurance and they called for some details so pretty soon they'll be paying for my damages and I can repair the damage at the back. I'm still thinking of painting a bulls eye on the back lol. | | Becks wrote: | | Well, I'm off for a bit, got work soon. I shall return later! lol. |

Me and Craig yesterday:
Craig getting his medals for his service in Afghanistan pinned on:
And his medals - the one with the black and white ribbon is called the New Zealand Operational Service Medal, the one with the coloured ribbon is the New Zealand General Service Afghanistan Medal. He received the ISAF medal while he was there, but he wasn't wearing it here (wasn't supposed to anyways apparently lol):
Like I said, I'm very proud of him. Just a random note, they don't always wear their berets with this uniform, they often wear what's called a mounted rifle hat, but because they had the battalion photo before the medals were presented they wore berets, cos otherwise you wouldn't be able to see who anyone is in the photo LOL! It takes a strong and dedicated spouse to allow the servicemember a clear mind in order to perform their responsibilites for their respective country...being apart from each other is only half of it!!! I am extremely proud and happy for the both of you!!!! | | Becks wrote: | | Morning everyone! I slept like a log last night after such a busy day, lol! I have a couple of pics I want to share from yesterday cos I am very proud of Craig. I've posted them here rather than in the 'picture of you' thread cos they're not really of me, although I am in one LOL!
A very special day for us I believe. |
