Agreed, guido. A true star. In the 60's, she was working regularly in television when blacks were struggling for that kind of recognition. Especially black women. She was a wonderful entertainer and a sultry vocalist. She was a real "hottie" as catwoman, as well!!!! HA!!!! A terrible loss.

Awww...all you other old farts would be sad at this one...just saw that Eartha Kitt died. Odd that she is known for "Santa Baby."
To paraphrase Comicbookguy: "Best Catwoman [PLUS] EVER!" I'll miss her. A true STAR in every sense of the word.

I'll edit mine, then. Hope you saw what I first posted in response and now withdrew based on yours.

You don't have to appease me but look at what people are complaining about in their posts to you. Don't like a thread, don't post in it. Just don't offend those who choose to do so and watch the derogatory remarks. Just that easy.

Well, while I would agree that she was hot, like many here have posted in response to you, I can't help but question your choice of vocabulary. "Big bitch?" Poor choice of words yet again, my friend.

I'd suggest you think of all the Priest women who frequent the site before you post.

I COULD have gotten an adapter to make a small one fit, though. So I got THAT going for me!

Yeh, you should get the help of a pro before planting things around the pool. I could see how that would be a problem, like planting a willow near the sespool, or even worse neer the POOL! That baby would find the water no matter what!
Yah know, I think I'm probably about that age too! So there, we are even! Dark Knight anyone!?

IN THE BRAIN? Oh crap, I don't think I have hit 14 yet. Still like comic books, cartoons are my favorite and only show that I regularly watch on tv, Heavy Metal still RULES MY LIFE!!! Haaaa!!! Hey, but I can legally buy beer. That is a plus!

Doin' well, my friend. Just spent hours trying to clean out the jungle around my pool to figure out where I put the surrounding pool lights / sprinklers. Ever have one of those moments? Yeah, plant this there...it would look cool...only to find out years later it is a disaster of a weed!! Word to the wise. Sawgrass and pools don't mix very well.  How's youse?

I  have just watched Salems Lot with David Soul and James Mason. It is very creepy There is a scene with Mason driving the cadillac towards town that for some reason is really weird...if you look at a lot of older horror movies they touch on themes that seem to be avoided by film makers today... look at Halloween could you imagine  them having a potsmoking scene involving the heroine in a movie today...you can shoot someone but you can't have a cigarette !!!!!   then again thank god for Rob Zombie and his movies... i think i feel like some tutti -fuckin - fruity !!!
cheers ! b.

Sim, Seu Iron. De férias na Foz de Iguaçú, mais com visitas a meus tios e para correr a maratona no Rio. Trabalho e férias...(ah...também para ver o jogo Flamingo em Maracaná!)

Horrors of Dracula! That was the film. Van Helsing is bitten and cures himself with a branding iron to the neck / bite wound.

Speaking of Christopher Lee. Just watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He was Dr. Wonka! Great actor. Still, those that know me also know that I still prefer my oompa loompas with a certain color skin / hair / clothes. Yeah, I am picky. Especially with what concerns my Oompa Loompas.

[Heart Of A Lion] Saturday, July 19, 2008 7:36:52 AM

Sim, me lembro que você comentou sobre seu apt. no Rio. Estava de férias aqui no Brasil?

I remember that film you mentioned, but I can't remember the name of it. Maybe other fans could help.  Last week I bought Scars Of Dracula, one of the few Dracula movies without Mr. Cushing. Anyway, Chris Lee made a great work on it too! As usual!

Bom te ver, meu amigo. Nao sei si ainda se lembra mais eu tenho um apt. no Rio (Niteroi, na verdade). Voltei da sua linda terra ha menos de un mes. (Iguaçú é uma belllleeeezzzzzaa!)

Ok, back to English in public and praising my two personal favorites! Who remembers the fine Dracula film where the end is Van Helsing jumping onto the windmill and turning it into a cross to burn the evil bloodsucker to death? Come on fans, name the film! Who remembers how the "hero" also overcomes the vampire bite and basically uses a common farming tool to heal himself from said bite?

Talking about the master Christopher Lee, yes, he was terrifying as Dracula in all those cool Hammer movies. But he was also superb as Saruman. I think his portrayal of the white wizard was so perfect, that he gave to the character a bigger dimension in the movies than in the books. I read all Tolkien movies and saw the 3 movies and in my humble opinion, Christopher Lee made a fantastic Saruman!

SARUMAN ROCKS!!!!!!

CHRISTOPHER LEE RULES!!!!!

So, how about to talk about them?
Who does remember the master Peter Cushing playing Doctor Who in the 1965 movie, "Doctor Who And The Daleks"? I watched it just one time it, when I was a kid, back in the 70's, but I never forgot it!

Just a brief shout out to all the Priest fans. I'm hitting the big 41. Been doing "real" hip-hop for more than 2 decades. In between, a few other things like running a company, becoming a professor, joining a ministry, you know..the kind of stuff that helps you decide what you're going to do when you "grow up." As for right now, I'll just go hit the Nostradamus album for that 1000th play..no need to rush huh? They will pry the British Steel lp from my cold dead hands... LOL If anybody's bound for the Bristow VA show, holla atcha boy . I'm there. And rumor has it, I'm going to still be in the "Reunited" hoodie from last tour. :) Respect!

Ya. I'm 44. But I'm not old - I'm classic.
[Great White] Tuesday, June 24, 2008 4:56:57 PM
Old?????  Forty one, but still feel like I'm in my twenties.  I've been listening to Priest since the "Hell bent for Leather" album and I still love to listen to them.  My five year old doesn't quite know what to make of Nostradamus, but she loves to dance to "old" priest, especially "Hot rockin'".  I went out on a limb 3 years ago and had Judas Priest tattoo'd on my ankle, much to my mothers disbelieve, but at 41 I figured I didn't need her approval.

I'm not old, gently aged almost to perfection!

I also saw Iron Maiden a few weeks back here in Edmonton, AB, Canada and what a concert they put on!!!  Fantastic!  Priest will be here July 27th and I can hardly wait!

Hey Healer, at risk of asking you an indelicate question (I'm notorious for that, ask anyone on this site) how old are you and where in the world are you located?  I'm 40 and in Oregon and have been a Priest-a-holic for some 27 years now, if not longer.
[Healer] Sunday, June 22, 2008 2:54:06 PM
Well, this old timer was at Maiden Friday night and 38 special & Charlie Daniels Band last night.  Maiden was incredible.  What a show and man does Bruce's voice sound great and the guy has more energy then the Energizer Bunny!  Took my older son, his best friend and my nephew.  My son and his friend had pit tickets and they said it was amazing.  My nephew and I were a couple sections up but still good seats!  Last night was ok. 38 Special are always good in concert and they didn't disappoint but we left during Charlie Daniels.  Just not my cup of tea.  Couldn't wait to get back to the boat, throw on my pj's, grab my i-pod and went to bed listening to Nostradamus
