YOUR CORRECT SOY, BUT I HAVE TO PULL FOR SOMEONE IF THE ISLANDERS AREN'T IN IT. CAN'T ROOT FOR RANGERS. HAVING A ROOTING INTEREST GETS ME MORE INTO IT. WHO EVER IS IN IT I WANT THE FINALS TO BE 7 GAMES.
EARLY 1970'S WHENI FIRST GOT INTO HOCKEY THE ISLANDERS HADN'T EXISTED YET. I USED TO ROOT FOR THE BLACKHAWKS. I LOVE THEY JERSEY. I STILL THINK IT IS THE BEST ONE IN ALL SPORTS.
YOU ARE ALSO CORRECT IS SAYING IT IS THE TOUGHEST TROPHY TO WIN. MOST EXCITING THING IN ALL OF SPPORTS IN MY OPINION.
IF PRIEST PUT ON A PERFORMANCE BETWEEN PERIODS AT GAME 7 OF THE STANLEY CUP FINALS...WOW IT COULDN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT. LOL

I LIKE YOUR VISION OF THE STANLEY CUP FINAL...BUT CAN I THROW IN A MONTREAL IN FOUR STRAIGHT WITH THAT?......SERIOUSLY THOUGH,NEITHER TEAM IN MY OPINION WILL GET CLOSE TO THAT,MONTREAL IS PLAYING FAR TOO INCONSISTENT,NOT TO MENTION VERY POORLY AT TIMES,AND THE BLACKHAWKS SIMPLY DON'T HAVE THE EXPERIENCE YET WITH THE STARS ON THEIR ROSTER...THE STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS IS PRETTY MUCH THE MOST DIFFICULT MARATHON TO ACHIEVE FINAL VICTORY IN ALL OF PROFESSIONAL SPORT,AND EXPERIENCE NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN COMES TO CALL IN THESE PLAYOFF ROUNDS.

Well this is tough. A road trip I expected to lose 3 out of 4, and we win 3 out of 4. The Islanders are playing very well. If this is whats to come next year plus a top notch dtaft pick and hopefully 1 big fre agent, I'm excited.
They looked tired the forst 10 minutes (They played a tough game in Boston yesterday) but after that they looked great.
Good luck the rest of the way Ron. I know it's a long shot but I wouldn't mind seeing a Montreal vs chicago Stanley cup final.
