you can blame anyone, basicly anything might cause cancer.  just wait, even a shirt made from pure organic brocoli stems will probably kill you

So does that mean that I can't blame China, HB? How about the Governator, then? Next, ol' "Prop 65" is going to tell me that driving a car while sitting in the passenger seat is hazardous to my health (come on, don't tell me you hadn't done that as a teen....you get REALLY funny looks driving down the road if you keep your hand low on the wheel and pretend to look the other way when passing pedestrians..lol). I wonder if my haz-mat suit has one? I should take it off someday and check.

MetalMan, I'd be curious to know. I found that warning on Bell's site. Nary a word on the outside of the box itself.

That is awesome, just found a pair on Amazon for $50. They are made by a different company I hope they are not toxic too.

guido, everything will have that warning in a couple of years.  your car does, the gas in it does, etc.

Like the lead-painted drinking glasses, I hope that the carcinogenic properties of the seat cover only become active if I drive it to California.
Gotta love the Chinese. Not that I'll ever throw it away but at least they made sure to stamp the box as "recyclable!"

Oh, pfffft. You'll be fine. Just as long as the seat covers themselves are not covered in paint thinner or something and you don't rub your nose all over it everyday for the rest of your life, you'll be alright.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Wednesday, September 12, 2012 11:46:48 PM)

Upon further research, I am now kinda happy I only found one! A seat cover with chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects?! Uhhhh WHAT?

PROP 65 WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Twenty minutes ago. $10!! Screw you, Live Nation!
Too bad they only had one. I think I'll keep looking instead of putting RunDMC on the other seat. LOL!

Well that sucks! Exactly why I don't take chances with our ONLY local store anymore (Walmart). While they have a fine selection of Halloween sounds that will soon turn to Xmas, It just isn't worth the effort to even look anymore.

Our local CD store didn't have any, damnit. I'll need to order it online I think.

Our Sam Goody's is F.Y.E.. Did you guy's/gals sign up for the F.Y.E. card and save 10%.
I did and it brought the cost down to about the same as Walmart. Normally I hate F.Y.E. because
of the high prices. New discs are always $19.99 and new movies are usually $24.99 - $26.99.
New discs at Walmart are usually $11.99 and new movies usually $19.99. The negative about
Walmart is selection.(very limited) If you don't mind waiting Walmart.com has just about everything.
No I'm not a Walmart commercial.(lol) I actually hate the place but when it comes to music it's hard
to beat their prices.

Best Buy was sold out, but we found it SFV 30th anniversary edition at FYE and on sale too! Put the DVD in to play right away and cranked up the stereo. It took me right back to the day that I was glued to MTV waiting to see Priest at the US festival. The band was on fire!! Rob talking to the crowd, smiling and laughing brought back so many memories. I don't care what people say, Rob has always been a GREAT front man
