There were too many damn critters at that show because if you saw a crow or raven
there was still a chicken in there. I saw this thing right in front of me. It was multi colored
(Brown, black, and white and it couldn't fly. I think someone threw it from behind me and it landed
on the floor section. It jumped into the crowd then came scurrying out. Security finally cornered it
and I stopped paying attention. Quite a few people were pulling cameras out. It should make
youtube. It was dark and I had trouble following it so I may have seen something other than what
I thought I saw but I think it was a chicken. Bud, I don't know what worries me more...the fact that some idiot actually brought a chicken to the concert or the fact that they got it in! WTF is right! Hellrider gets all his blunt-studded gear taken away yet a fool can get a damn chicken past security! Maybe he had it stuffed down his pants like the underwear bomber. | | Budred wrote: | | I have to share this story before I forget. I was watching Ozzy and getting into Fairies Wear Boots when I felt something whiz by my head. Out of the corner of my
eye it looked like a balled up shirt or hoodie. Not that strange until I started looking for it on the floor to see what it was.
I was having trouble spotting it and when I did I swear I thought it moved. My initial thought was wind blowing it but I
realized quite quickly there was no wind. Then it appeared to be running. The next thing I know it leaped into the air and into the crowd.
People were swatting at their heads and a bit of commotion ensued. That's when I realized it was a live chicken that someone
apparantly tossed into the crowd. The funny part was watching security try to catch it running around with their little flashlights.
People were taking pictures and hopefully video. I hope it ends up on youtube so you guys don't think I'm making this shit up.

I'll try that again if it doesn't work soon.
@HRMG
...I did see you. I tried to take a picture to surprise you on hear but it was too dark. I didn't get to Cleveland
until around 6:00. I knew you weren't at the HRC so I didn't even bother. I was on the right side, second section from the
stage, first row. Great seats actually. Close enough to make out facial features and back far enough to enjoy the whole stage.
I saw you and your husband in between sets. You guys were standing and talking to some guy. Your husband was holding
the banner. You guys were walking back (for beers?) and you were pretty close. I was going to holler but I didn't want to
embarass myself. I also caught you guys trying to protect yourself from a foam bath with your banner during Fairies Wear Boots.
You can't see you guys but you can see the banner trying to block the foam. I'll post it as soon as I get it to youtube. Peace! |

Thanks Bud, we made it home safe and sound. We spent the night in Cleveland and left this morning around 10am. It was coming down pretty good, but much easier to drive in the daylight. Once we got to Toledo it let up. I'm so sorry we didn't meet up. Next time, OK? I'm so glad that you made it home safely - it sounds like you had a hell of a trip. We took a ton of pictures, will post the good ones as soon as we get them all downloaded and sorted.
HALFORD WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Budred from Monday, December 06, 2010 8:40:32 AM) | | Budred wrote: | | ...Hot Rockin' Metal Goddess.
I hope and pray(to any being that may be out there) that you and your
husband made it home O.K.. When I left downtown Cleveland it was clear but as soon as I hit the interstate
it turned into a mess. The snow started coming down so hard I could barely see. Then the roads got covered
and half the time I couldn't tell which lane I was in. I-80 traffic flow on a normal day is about 75 miles an hour.
There was about a twenty mile stretch where it literally came to a crawl, maybe 25 mph. I started to get a bit
of a migraine before I left the show and man did it make my drive home torturous. Not being able to see through
the snow and light reflection off of it was causing sharp pains behind my right eye and down the side of my head.
It got so bad I thought I would have to pull over and throw up. I still had the damn thing when I woke earlier. It's
subsiding now thank goodness.
Lastly and again, HRMG I hope you made it home safely. |

I saw Ozzy back then also and quite honestly I completely agree'd with you until this years Ozzfest. I believe
he was every bit as good if not better and I think the (possible) no drug intake was the reason for it. Before
that though the last four or five times that I saw him I ended up leaving early and feeling sorry for how pathetic
he looked. I was hoping he would retire to save himself from the embarassment that he became. ...I went to the Ozzy/Halford show in Cleveland last night. Two things stand out the most.
The first being how much better the indoor atmosphere was for Rob. The daylight and sparse
crowd at Ozzfest along with nothing from the crowd made it hard to enjoy. Last night the crowd
was huge and definitely into it. I didn't care for two or three of the newer songs he played but overall
they were heavy as f*ck and Rob sounded great.
The second thing was that if you ever see Ozzy at his best cherish it because he (rarely) ever is. He
sounded so much better at Ozzfest than lastnight. I've seen him sound worse so last night wasn't
horrible but it was definitely an off night for him. At Ozzfest he seemed cleaned up and his performance
showed for it. Last night made me think he's turning back to his old ways.(just guessing!) He did claim
to have an ear infection and I saw him grab his nose and blow trying to pop his ears many times and
once he said it was driving him crazy. He said it felt like a bubble inside his head. I'll give him the benefit
of doubt because it did seem to bother him. He has a phenomenol band right now and musically they
were great. To sum it up, I had a good time and I'm so glad I saw Halford at something other than Ozzfest.
That was a disappointment. Last night he showed why they call him the metalgod. |

...Can't wait til Saturday. The wife and I watch a local highschool football team.(Steubenville Big Red)
We have been going since 1987 and have gone to (roughly)175 games. Since 1984 they have played
in 6 state championship games winning 3 of them. They have made it to the semi-finals at least a dozen
times. OHSAA splits the state into four regions and Steubenville has won that nearly every year, one stretch
doing it eleven straight times. This year they lost 2 games in a row for the first time since 2000. They lost
in week eight last year to end a 68 game regular season winning streak. In 05' and 06' they were the first
Ohio team to have back to back (15 - 0) seasons. Their QB for that team plays for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Playoffs start this weekend. Hopefully they will win a few games. Not championship material this year but
still good so we'll see. Even though most probably don't care I'll let you know how they do. Peace! |

...I just noticed that I got one (un)ignore. I didn't know you could do that. To whomever it was
if you're reading this I would like to say "Thank You". Even though I now realize this is going to happen
from time to time it's still a drag when it does. I've been trying to back off a little and keep my pics posted
here only. Hopefully that keeps the ignores down. Edited at: Wednesday, November 03, 2010 7:46:53 AM |

Thanks and I forgot one little detail. The biker in the Britney Spears outfit had the skirt, top, wig,
and ("biker" boots) on. It made the look. Saturday we went to Cleveland for Mushroomhead's annual
Halloween show. I was wondering on the way up why they were calling it their Halloween show when they had a concert
scheduled in Michigan on Sunday night. I saw that the line-up had three bands and MRH listed so after the third band I
thought MRH was next. Then after the fourth band I thought they were next. After the sixth band I was getting pissed.
After eight bands and the clock saying 11:30 and still no MRH I was wondering if this shit wasn't going on all night. At
midnight I found out why they called it their Halloween show. About 1:40 the show was finally over. I know most here
hate them but it was so worth the wait. Incredible high energy show and a "VERY" sic crowd. Then all the hotties with
their little schoolgirl outfits, and little fairy outfits, and nurses and...You get the picture. The waitresses were running
around in heels and garters and panties with black tape covering the nipples. I'm happy and love my wife but it was fun to watch.
We got home around 4:30 in the morning. Got about five hours sleep and then went to Coopers Rock. I may have overrated
the place the first time but it is a beautiful place none the less. We walked all of Rattlesnake trail this time. I may post a
slide show for you guys. You wouldn't believe how treacherous some of this path looks. This post is a little long so I'll end it.
I'm a little tired but I can rest when I'm dead. Right now I'm just trying to live. It's one of the reasons the wife and I are so happy.
P.S.
You should have seen the biker dressed up in a little Britney Spears outfit(skirt, crop top, and wig) moshing in the pit. Now that was funny. Edited at: Monday, November 01, 2010 6:48:05 AM |
