VERY well said and done by all!! I cannot say it enough; any loser can ignore but the number that really matters is Friends. It is an inescapable fact that each and every one of these troublemaking morons have very little (if any) Friends on their profile, and quite likely in their daily lives. Interesting and remarkably telling, isn't it?

Hi guido, thanks ! I've added you too   And how are you today ?

[guidogodoy] Wednesday, January 14, 2009 3:57:15 AM
I agree with strat 100%. Nothing better than a TRUE Metal fan. Easy to tell & added as well (was a poet and didn't ... realize it).

Thanks strat, I've added you too

Well, Ive added you as friend, so thats at least one ignore equaled out... As for what to do, just continue being a normal, decent member, and people will add you. Hell, we get only so much good members, and we will welcome everyone.

Well, it looks like a lot of us are strangely hit with "ignores". Had 2 of them a couple of days ago, after beeing away from the site for a couple of months, and all I had done was congratulate Ron and wrote one word in the word game! pfffffff..... I wonder howmany "ignores" I'm gonna get today ..... as it had happened to me once already a long time ago, with one "ignore" after having simply said hello on the board..... I guess the only thing to do is Keep Smiling!
[_strat_] Tuesday, January 13, 2009 5:17:48 AM
Agreed. Its usualy not hard to tell apart good members from the bad. And the bad dont last long, thanks to the magic "report offensive message" button... Tho lately Im using it much more than I would want to.

Btw. We seem to be talking about internet abusers and throwing cats out of windows at the same time... Well, we seem to be doing it rather well!

I hear ya... I have one too. Wont throw it out of the window, no way. TV shows are one thing, but reallity is usualy something else. For all I know, I just might kill or permanently damage the cat... Not thank you. Besides, shes so fat, she would probably make a hole in the pavement.

Even though I prefer dogs, I do have a cat.  She is quite friendly and always wants attention.  She even gets mad if I don't come straight home from work!!  I don't have the heart to experiment with her, although I had this black cat with white paws who literally attacked me one day, now her...

Unfortunately, for all the cool Priest fans we have here, there are always those few who have nothing better to do than to be idiots who just can't seem to get along with others.  What I take comfort in is that I know (pretty much) who the good 'core' people on this site are and even though I'll always be one of the first to welcome a new comer, I keep a little distance until I get to know them a little bit.  That's sad, but I've learned the hard way that that's what's best for me.

Ah. No cat parachute, then? Anyway... It makes sense to me. I just hope that this conversation wont inspire anyone to try it out. It sure tempts me!

Lol! I know... I have fourteen ignores right now! It used to be a norm that a regular member had at least 10 by the end of the first month...  Anyway, Im not upset about it. I was just wondering if there is a way to see who is ignoring me. It would be interesting to say the least.

Oh, and I picked up an ignore yesterday (or maybe it was the day before yesterday) too. I suspect the idiot that picked on guido in the picture thread.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ronhartsell from Tuesday, January 13, 2009 4:51:14 AM)

There is no way to find out who is ignoring you.  I actually picked up an ignore yesterday and I wasn't even on-line yesterday.  It may have been done accidentally or there's a 'spineless jellyfish' out there just being a jerk.  I will pass on advice to you that was given to me when I got my first ignore...embrace it!!  You are now 'officially' one of us!!!  Welcome to the club my friend!!!

Good morning/afternoon, Strat...
I watched a show over the weekend on Discovery (I think) called 'In The Womb: Cats'.  What the show implied was that cats have 240 some odd bones in there vertebrae and in their ears they have 3 types of membrane (?) that give them their balance and sense of direction (humans only have one).  When a cat falls their head orients itself with where it's at and 'points' it's head in the right direction.  As the spine follows it's head it one sweeping motion, it lands perfectly on all fours.  The show also noted that the higher up the cat falls, the better the position it will land in.
Hope this makes sense.
