Playdate! LOL Sure Guid, I'll just pop right over with her! LOL
Momo, I was almost sweating by the time 3:30 rolled round waiting for a report from Flora. Lucy chewed up a bag that Flora had left on the coffee table, BUT THAT WAS IT! No pee, no pooh, furniture intact! Thank you God for sending me the perfect angel!
I am So proud of her!

I agree with you Guido, our doggy is a rescue dog mutt and he is the most loveliest dog ever, such a happy boy and as luck would have it a good watch dog too, which is very good for me when home alone

So happy to hear it. You know that all my animals now are "rescue" friends.
Personally, I can understand it when people (cough...my father) spends a mini-fortune to get a "purebred" dog but I'll take my good ol' Tennessee mutt anyday. BEST dog in the world (despite his occasional "munching" habits!).

Vet said that his best guess was that Calvin was some sort of beagle / birddog mix. Too tall for a regular beagle but still has the bark and digging tendencies (lunar landscape backyard, IOW).
As for your doggie gate, be creative...like me! (damned if that hound didn't chew up one of the clamps I had hooking it onto the stairs, though. Babygate in the doorway to my great room and this kept him from jumping the stairs!

For that very reason, stinky breath, I'm going to buy doggie toothpaste and a baby toothbrush tomorrow. Her teeth are just plain cruddy for her age. She has not had a good diet.

Raw animal bones are the worst!!! They smell like rotting carcus after they chew on that stuff. I make sure i have some of those denta-stixs handy if i give Bender a bone.
